gyara sasheDaga 1997-2011, an raba gasar zuwa 1A na kungiyoyin Arewa da 1B na kungiyoyin kudu. Biyu da ke kan gaba a kowanne fanni suna zuwa gasar Premier ta Najeriya a kakar wasa mai zuwa. Banbancin shine lokacin 2005-06 da 2006-07 inda akwai ƙungiyoyi huɗu na ƙungiyoyi takwas kowanne, tare da kowane mai nasara na yin nasara. Ranar farawa zai kasance makonni uku bayan an dawo babban rabon NPFL. Ana sa ran za a fara gasar a ranar 30 ga Janairu, 2021 bayan an yi nasara a fafatawar da aka yi a Majalisar da aka yi ranar Juma’a 15 ga Janairu a Jihar Ebonyi[1]
A ranar Asabar 30 ga Janairu, 2021, an gudanar da taron gaggawa a jihar Ebonyi inda aka sauya ranar da za a fara gasar zuwa ranar 13 ga Fabrairu 2021. Kungiyoyi 21 ne suka kada kuri’ar amincewa da ranar 13 ga Fabrairu yayin da kungiyoyi 4 suka kada kuri’ar amincewa da ranar 6 ga Fabrairu[2]
