Sheikh SaniYahaya Jingir malamin addinin Musulunci ne, wanda ke zaune a jihar Filato,[1]. [2] Kuma shi ne Shugaban Majalisar Malaman ƙungiyar nan ta addinin Musulunci, wato Jama'atul Izalatil Bid'ah Wa'Ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) a ƙarƙashin jahar Jos .[3][4] A ranar 25 ga watan Mayun shekara ta dubu biyu da Sha biyar 2015, an zaɓe shi a matsayin shugaban majalisan ne bayan an yanke shawara a wani taron majalisa a Jos da manyan shuwagabanninta suka yi, wanda majalisar dattawan Ulama’un ta yi, yayin da Sheikh Alhassan Saed Adam ya zama mataimaki, an yi zaɓen ne lokacin da majalisar ta rasa shugabanta Sheikh Isma'il Idris Zakariyya.[5].

Jingir ya kuma yi ta wa'azi tuƙuru a kan Boko Haram saboda kafircewansu na suna yin Jihadi ba bisa ƙa'idar da Musulunci da Shari'ah suka tsara ba,[11][12] Jingir a lokacin wani bikin buɗe masallacin Juma'ah [Mosque] a saman Dutsen Zinariya a arewacin Jos, Ya gargaɗi masu satar mutane a duk fadin ƙasar da su nemi gafarar Allah, su tuba, haka ma zai shirya addu’o’i na musamman da azumin har Allah Ya shafe su,[13] wasu mutane sun gaza wajan yunƙurin kashe shi bayan an biya shi Naira dubu 500.[14][15][16][17][18].
