An naɗa Nasir Yusuf Gawuna ne wanda Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje ya nada bayan murabus ɗin da tsohon Mataimakin Gwamna Farfesa Hafiz Abubakar[1] a ranar 5 ga watan Agustan shekara ta 2018, Gwamna Ganduje ya kuma rike Gawuna a matsayin abokin takarar sa a babban zaben Najeriya na 2019. kafin nadin nasa Gawuna shi ne Kwamishina a Kano, na Ma’aikatar Aikin Gona, tun a shekara ta 2014 aka fara nada shi a matsayin kwamishina daga tsohon Gwamnan Kano Injiniya Eng Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso.

Ya kasance shugaban karamar hukumar Nassarawa na tsawon shekaru 8 a karkashin rusasshiyar jam’iyyar All Nigeria Peoples Party ANPP yayin da Ibrahim Shekarau ya kasance Gwamnan Kano, yayi aiki tare da dukkan Gwamnonin Kano 3 tun daga shekarar alif 1999 zuwa yanzu.
