Cif Mofia Tonjo Akobo (Yuli 1934 - Maris 2020) ɗan siyasan Najeriya ne kuma manyan kamfen ɗinsa sun kasance kan batutuwan da suka shafi muhalli da sarrafa albarkatu. Ya kasance Ministan Albarkatun Man Fetur na farko a tarayyar Najeriya.[1][2][3][4] An horar da shi a matsayin likita da kuma soja kuma an tura shi yakin basasar Najeriya (1967-1970). A matsayinsa na Ministan Man Fetur na farko, ya sanya shi zama babban jigo wajen bunƙasa tattalin arziki bayan yakin, abin takaici har yanzu yana dogaro da man fetur sosai.

Akobo ya zama shugaban kungiyar 'yan tsiraru ta kudu kuma ya jagoranci kafa kungiyar Niger Delta. [5]

An haife shi a watan Yuli 1934 a Abonnema cikin dangin Mary John Fyneface na Abonnema da Nathaniel Tonjo Akobo na Tombia. Karatun sa na firamare ya haɗa da karatu a makarantar Bishop Crowther Memorial Abonnema, Central School Eha-Amufu, da Makarantar Tombia, Tombia. Ya yi karatun sakandare a Kwalejin Gwamnati Umuahia, daga shekarun 1949 zuwa 1955 inda ya zama Kyaftin a Makarantar (1954/1955).[6] Ya samu gurbin karatu a Kwalejin Jami’ar Ibadan, daga shekarun 1956 zuwa 1960. Ya kuma halarci Asibitin Kwalejin Jami’ar, daga shekarun 1960 zuwa 1963, kuma ya gudanar da aikin horar da lafiyarsa a Asibitin Koyarwa na Jami’ar Legas, daga shekarun 1963 zuwa 1964.[6]

A cikin shekarar 1955, an ba shi lambar yabo ta Elder Demster Lines na Unilever Brothers Group Scholarship zuwa Burtaniya don balaguron ilimi na mako uku zuwa London, Liverpool, Brighton, da Arewacin Wales; wannan ya ba shi kwarewa ta farko game da wayewar yamma.

Ya auri Data Ine Akobo, née Amachree, mataimakiyar laburare mai ritaya na Jami'ar Kimiyya da Fasaha ta Jihar Ribas, kuma yana da 'ya'ya da jikoki.

Ya yi aiki a Royal Orthopedic Hospital Igbobi Yaba, General Hospital Marina, Lagos, Federal Airport Medical Unit Kano, Bataliya Biyar MRS Kano daga shekarun 1964 zuwa 1966, General Hospital Yenegoa, Gabashin Nigeria daga shekarun 1966 zuwa 1968, General Hospital Aba, daga watan Afrilu 1968-Agusta 1968 da kuma 3rd Nigerian Army Medical Corps, daga watan Satumba 1968-Janairu 1970.

A watan Agusta 1969, ya zama shugaban kwamitin wasanni na jihar Rivers kuma memba na hukumar wasanni ta Najeriya, daga watan Afrilu 1972-Agusta 1973. Ya taba zama kwamishinan ayyuka sannan kuma kwamishinan kuɗi a majalisar zartarwa ta jihar Ribas tsakanin shekarun 1973 zuwa 1974. A cikin shekarun 1967-1969, yana cikin rundunar soji ta uku karkashin jagorancin Benjamin Adekunle.

A cikin shekarar 1975, an naɗa shi a cikin majalisar ministocin tarayya a matsayin minista na farko mai kula da sabuwar ma'aikatar man fetur da makamashi. A watan Disamba na shekarar 1975, a matsayin ministan OPEC a Vienna, Akobo na cikin ministocin da aka gudanar a lokacin da aka yi garkuwa da Carlos. Ya yi aiki a majalisar zartarwa ta Janar Murtala Mohammed kuma sabon shugaban kasa Janar Olusegun Obasanjo ya ci gaba da rike shi, amma ya koma cikin kundin tsare-tsare da ci gaban tattalin arziki har zuwa shekara ta 1977.

Ya kammala rattaba hannu kan kwangilar aikin matatar mai na Warri tare da ci gaba da bunƙasa matatar mai ta Kaduna sosai. Ya taka rawa wajen kafa kungiyar ECOWAS a matakin ministoci da kuma kafa hukumar raya yankin Neja Delta.[7]

A cikin shekarar 1978, ya koma Fatakwal don ya jagoranci ƙungiyar likitocin TEME Clinic Association a Port-Harcourt wanda ya kafa tare da manyan daraktoci, George Organ da Peterside.

Akobo yana da sha’awar ci gaban yankin Neja Delta ya sa aka kafa jam’iyyar IZON ta ƙasa inda ya kasance memba na kafa (1991/92). Ya kuma kasance memba na kungiyar Movement for National Reformation a karkashin shugabancin Cif Anthony Enahoro CFR, da kungiyar tsiraru ta Kudu karkashin jagorancin Janar David Ejoor. Daga karshe Akobo ya zama shugaban kungiyar ‘yan tsiraru ta kudu, kuma ya haɗa kafa da kungiyar haɗin kan yankin Neja-Delta, wadda ta kasance hadakar kungiyoyin yankin Neja-Delta, kamar su Southern Minorities Movement, Commonwealth of Niger Delta Coalition, MOSOP da dai sauransu. ƙungiyoyin tsirarun ƙabilu a yankin. [5]

  • Wanda ya kafa kungiyar nazarin jihar Ribas.
  • Wanda ya kafa kungiyar Ijaw Youth Council (IYC).
  • Mamban zartarwa na Cibiyar Mulkin Tsarin Mulki (CCG) karkashin jagorancin Beko Ransome-Kuti.
  • Wanda ya kafa NADECO (National Democratic Coalition).
  • Wakilin zartaswa na G34, ɓangarorin da suka canza kansu zuwa PDP ( PDP ).

Akobo ya rasu ne a ranar 13 ga watan Maris, 2020 bayan gajeriyar rashin lafiya kuma an yi jana’izarsa a ranar Asabar, a ranar 10 ga watan Oktoba, 2020, a mahaifarsa da ke Tombia, karamar hukumar Degema ta Jihar Ribas.
