Alhaji [1] Ismail Babatunde Jose OFR [2] (an haife shi a Legas a kuma ranar 13 ga watan Disamban shekarar 1925, ya mutu ne a ranar 2 ga watan Agustan shekarata 2008) ɗan jaridar Nijeriya ne kuma editan jarida. Jaridar The Guardian ce ta bayyana shi a matsayin "fitaccen jajiratate doyen aikin jarida a Najeriya" kuma a matsayin "daya daga cikin fitattun ƴan jaridar Najeriya"; na jaridar Independent a matsayin "editan jaridar da ya mamaye aikin jarida a Najeriya tsawon shekaru talatin" kuma a matsayin "babbar bishiyar da tsironta ya tsiro da sauran titan na aikin"; kuma ta Kamfanin Watsa Labarai na Burtaniya a matsayin "kakan aikin jarida na Najeriya". An haife Jose ga dangin Hamzat da Hajarat Jose, mahaifinsa dan kasuwa ne, asalinsa Ikare [4] a cikin jihar Ondo, wanda ya koma Lagos, mahaifiyarsa dangin Nupe ce .Kakan sa ya taɓa zama Sarkin Musulmi na Kalaba Kalaba . [5] Babatunde Jose ya yi karatun sa a makarantar Gwamnatin Legas, Yaba, Legas, makarantar Methodist, Yaba da St Saviour's College.

Aikin jarida

Jose ya fara aiki a Nnamdi Azikiwe 's Daily Comet, kafin ya zama mai horarwa a Daily Times a 1941 yana da shekaru 16. Bayan wani juyin mulki da Janar Murtala Mohammed ya yi a shekarar 1975, an tilasta wa Daily Times ta sayar da kashi 60% na hannun jarin ta ga gwamnati, kuma “an saukaka Jose”, ya tashi bayan shekara guda. Jaridar daga baya ta ƙi. [1]

Duk da cewa bai taba kammala jami'a ba, Jami'ar Benin ta ba shi digirin girmamawa na shari'a. "Ba yadda za a yi wa Musulmi, shi ma ya karbi kyautar Paparoman Pius saboda ƙarfafa fahimtar addini." [2]
