Nkem Nwankwo // i (an haife shi a ranar 12 ga watan Yuni na shekarar 1936 -ya mutu a ranar 12 ga watan Yuni na shekarar 2001) marubuci ne kuma mawaki na Najeriya.[1]

gyara sasheAn haife shi a Nawfia-Awka, ƙauye kusa da garin Ibo na Onitsha a Jihar Anambra, kudu maso gabashin Najeriya, Nwankwo ya halarci Kwalejin Jami'a a Ibadan (babban birnin Jihar Oyo, kudu maso yammacin Najeriya), inda ya sami BA a shekarar 1962.[2] Bayan kammala karatunsa ya ɗauki aikin koyarwa a Makarantar Ibadan Grammar School, kafin ya ci gaba da rubutu don mujallu, gami da Drum da aiki ga Kamfanin Watsa Labarai na Najeriya.[3]
Ya rubuta labaru da yawa ga yara waɗanda aka buga a shekarar 1963 kamar Tales Out of School . Daga nan sai ya rubuta More Tales out of School a shekarar 1965.
Marubucin gajerun labaru da waƙoƙi, Nwankwo ya sami kulawa mai mahimmanci tare da littafinsa na farko Danda (1964), [4] wanda aka sanya shi cikin kiɗa da aka yi a ko'ina wanda aka shigar a cikin Bikin Duniya na Negro Arts na shekarar 1966 a Dakar, Senegal. [3] A lokacin Yaƙin basasar Najeriya Nwankwo ya yi aiki a Majalisar Fasaha ta Biafra . A shekara ta 1968, tare da hadin gwiwar Samuel X. Ifekjika, ya rubuta Biafra: The Making of a Nation .
