Muhammad Mustapha Adebayo Akanbi (11 Satumban shekarar ta alif 1932 - 3 Yuni 2018) lauya ne dan Najeriya kuma alkali, wanda ya yi aiki a matsayin Shugaban Kotun Daukaka Kara ta Najeriya (1992 – 1999) kuma ya zama shugaban hukumar yaki da cin hanci da rashawa ta Najeriya (2000-2005).[1]

An haifi Muhammad Mustapha Adebayo Akanbi a ranar 11 ga Satumba 1932 a Accra, Ghana, ga iyaye musulmai daga Ilorin a Najeriya. Bayan ya kammala karatunsa na sakandare ya yi aiki a matsayin babban jami'in ma'aikata na Ghana. Ya kuma kasance mai ƙwazo a matsayin ƙwararren ma'aikacin ƙwadago. Ya koma Najeriya, ya yi aiki a Sashen Watsa Labarai na Makaranta na Ma’aikatar Ilimi na Najeriya.[1]

Lauya kuma alkali

Akanbi ya samu gurbin karatu a fannin shari'a a Cibiyar Gudanarwa, a yanzu Jami'ar Ahmadu Bello da ke Zaria, sannan ya karanci shari'a a kasar Ingila. An kira shi kungiyar lauyoyi Turawa a shekarar 1963, kuma an kira shi Lauyan Najeriya a watan Janairun shekarata 1964. Ya shiga Ma'aikatar Shari'a kuma ya zama Babban Mashawarcin Jiha a 1968. A 1969 ya kafa a sirrance a Kano. A 1974 aka nada shi alkalin kotun tara haraji ta tarayya, kuma a watan Janairun 1977 aka kara masa matsayi zuwa kotun daukaka kara. A 1992 ya zama shugaban kotun daukaka kara ta Najeriya, mukamin da ya rike har ya yi ritaya a 1999.[1]

Dan sa shima kuma lauya ne, inda ya zama Shugaban kungiyar lauyoyin Najeriya reshen birnin Ilorin.[2]

Hukumar Yaki da Cin Hanci da Rashawa

A shekarar 2000 ne shugaban kasa Olusegun Obasanjo ya nada Akanbi a matsayin shugaban sabuwar hukumar yaki da cin hanci da rashawa (ICPC) da aka kafa. A shekara ta 2004, ICPC ta kasa samun wani gagarumin hukunci, kuma Akanbi a bainar jama'a ya yi tambaya kan dalilin da ya sa gwamnati ta kafa ICPC tare da nada mutanen da suka cancanta da za su gudanar da ayyukanta "kawai don tauye mata hakkin gudanar da ayyukan ta ta hanyar kashe mata kudi". Ya ce wani batu kuma shi ne, doka ta hana ta gudanar da bincike kan ayyukan cin hanci da rashawa tun kafin a kafa ICPC.[3] A watan Maris na shekarar 2004, Akanbi ya bukaci ‘yan majalisar da su amince da Majalisar Dinkin Duniya da kuma yerjejeniyar yaki da cin hanci da rashawa ta Tarayyar Afirka, wanda zai taimaka matuka wajen yaki da cin hanci da rashawa.[4]

Ya zuwa watan Yuli na shekarar 2005, ICPC ta tuhumi mutane 85 amma ta samu hukunci guda biyu da suka shafi cin hanci da rashawa. Da yake tsokaci kan wannan batu, Akanbi ya ce yana zargin cewa an biya wasu alkalan kudaden don su yi watsi da kararraki.[5] A watan Satumban 2005 Akanbe ya ce, “An kwatanta cin hanci da rashawa a matsayin tsutsotsin tsutsotsi, rashin lafiya da ya addabi al’ummarmu tare da yi wa kamfanoninmu barna. Ya alakanta matsalar da rashin kokarin shugabannin mulkin soja da suka shude wajen yaki da cin hanci da rashawa, rashin daidaito a manufofin gwamnati, da rashin son jami’an tsaro na kamawa da gurfanar da “masu laifi”.[6]

Akanbi yayi ritaya a shekara ta 2005 bayan kammala wa'adin mulkin farko.[1] Ya shiga cikin hukumar gyara shari’a da tabbatar da doka da oda, wata kungiya mai zaman kanta da ke da burin kawar da cin hanci da rashawa da fatara daga bangaren shari’a da hukumomin tabbatar da doka da oda.[7] A cikin 2006, Akanbi ya kafa Gidauniyar Mustapha Akanbi a Ilorin, Jihar Kwara, sadaukar da kai don ƙarfafa ƙungiyoyin jama'a, hukumomin gwamnati da matsalolin kasuwanci masu zaman kansu da kuma taimaka musu su haifar da al'ada na gaskiya da rikon amana.[8]

A watan Agustan 2009 ya yi kira ga Musulman Najeriya da su yi watsi da ra'ayin kungiyar Boko Haram, wanda ke da ra'ayin cewa koyar da ilimin boko haramun ne. Ya ce, ilimin kasashen yammaci da na Musulunci sune hanyoyin ci gaban bil'adama.[9]

Ya mutu a ranar 3 ga watan Yunin 2018 a lokacin yana da shekaru 85.[10][11]
