Kanar Rasheed Shekoni ya kasance shugaban mulkin soja na jihar Jigawa daga watan Agustan shekarar 1996 zuwa Agusta 1998 a lokacin mulkin soja na Janar Sani Abacha, sannan ya yi a jihar Kwara daga watan Agusta 1998 zuwa Mayu 1999 a lokacin gwamnatin riƙon ƙwarya na Janar Abdulsalami Abubakar.[1]

Ya gina asibitin kwararru na Rasheed Shekoni a Dutse babban birnin jihar Jigawa, amma sai aka yi watsi da shi na tsawon shekaru goma kafin a yi masa kayan aiki da kuma amfani da shi.[2]

A jihar Kwara ya kammala gina rukunin gidajen Adinimole tsarin (360-unit). Sai dai gwamnatin Mohammed Lawal mai jiran gado ta ɗauki shekaru huɗu tana raba gidajen. An ruwaito daga nan sai suka je wajen wasu gidajen waɗanda Lawal ya fi so.[3]
