Mohammed Abba Gana (an haife shi a 1943) ya kasance a matsayin mai ba da Shawara na Musamman kan Harkokin Jama’a ga Mataimakin Shugaban Najeriya Atiku Abubakar har zuwa 22 ga watan Yuni 2006, lokacin da Shugaba Olusegun Obasanjo ya kore shi. [1] Ya taba zama Ministan Babban Birnin Tarayya daga 8 ga watan Fabrairu 2001 zuwa 17 ga watan Yulin 2003.

An haifi Gana a 1943 a Damboa, Jihar Borno . Ya halarci makarantar firamare ta kwana ta Yelwa, Maiduguri (1956 - 1958), Kwalejin Gwamnati, Zariya, yanzu ta koma kwalejin Barewa (1959 - 1963) da kuma Makarantar Sakandaren Okene-Provincial (1964 - 1965). An shigar da shi Jami'ar Ahmadu Bello da ke Zariya (1966 - 1969) inda ya samu digiri a kan injiniyan lantarki.[2]

Ya yi aiki a matsayin injiniyan zartarwa a Ma’aikatar Ayyuka da Gidaje na Jihar Arewa maso Gabas. A watan Oktoba 1979 aka nada shi Kwamishinan Ayyuka da Gidaje na jihar Borno daga gwamnatin Greater Nigerian People Party (GNPP) ta jihar Borno karkashin Gwamna Mohammed Goni . A shekarar 1983 ya kasance dan takarar gwamna na GNPP a jihar Borno.[3]

Shekaru da dama yana cikin hukumar Hukumar Wutar Lantarki ta Kasa (NEPA).[4]
