Godwin Osagie Abbe (an haife shi ranar 10 ga watan Janairun 1949) a garin Benin, Jihar Edo, Najeriya tsohon[1] sojan Najeriya ne, Janar kuma tsohon ministan tsaro na Najeriya daga 2009 zuwa 2010. Ya taɓa zama ministan harkokin cikin gida na Najeriya daga 2007 zuwa 2009.[2]

Godwin Abbe ya shiga aikin soja a shekarar 1967 a matsayin mai zaman kansa, an ba shi muƙamin Laftanar na biyu a watan Yulin 1968, sannan ya samu muƙamin Kanar a shekarar 1986. Yayi aiki lokacin yaƙin basasar Najeriya. Ya yi Difloma a fannin Hulɗa ta ƙasa da ƙasa a Jami’ar Obafemi Awolowo (OAU), Ile-Ife. Har ila yau, ya kammala karatun digiri na biyu a Makarantar Sojojin Amurka ta Fort Benning, Georgia, Kwalejin Ma'aikatan Sojan Ghana da Cibiyar Nazarin Siyasa da Dabarun ƙasa ta Kuru.[3]

Ya kasance gwamnan soja na jihar Akwa Ibom daga 1988 zuwa 1990 da jihar Rivers daga 1990 zuwa 1991. Daga nan ya zama Janar Hafsan Kwamanda (GOC) 2 Division 2 Nigerian Army ; Kwamandan, Horarwa da Doctrine Command (TRADOC) da Kwamandan, Kwalejin Yaƙin ƙasa. Ya yi ritaya a shekarar 1999 da muƙamin Manjo Janar.[4]

Bayan ya bar aikin soja Godwin Abbe ya koma jam’iyyar People’s Democratic Party a shekarar 1999, kuma ya zama shugaban jam’iyyar a jihar Edo.[4]

Ministan Harkokin Cikin Gida

Shugaba Umaru Musa Ƴar'Adua ya naɗa Godwin Abbe a matsayin ministan harkokin cikin gida na Najeriya a ranar 26 ga Yulin 2007. A taron da shugabannin gwamnatocin Commonwealth suka yi a Kampala, Uganda a watan Nuwamba 2007, Abbe ya gana da firaministan Birtaniya Gordon Brown inda ya nemi taimako wajen sake fasalin rundunar ƴan sanda, waɗanda ke fama da rashin tarbiyya saboda rashin jin daɗi, rashin isassun horo da kuma rashin samun muhimman abubuwan kayan aiki.[5]

A matsayinsa na ministan harkokin cikin gida, Godwin Abbe shi ne shugaban kwamitin da ya ba da shawarar shirin yin afuwa ga ƴan bindiga a yankin Neja Delta, wani muhimmin mataki na inganta haƙo mai da iskar gas.[6] Ba da jimawa ba, an naɗa shi Ministan Tsaro, wanda ke taka muhimmiyar rawa wajen aiwatar da afuwar.[2]

A watan Satumban 2009, Abbe ya ce Amnesty ba za ta hana jami’an tsaro bin baragurbin mai ba bisa ƙa’ida ba, waɗanda ya ce za a ɗauki su a matsayin maƙiyan jihar.[7] A watan Oktoban 2009, maganar tsagerun Neja-Delta da suka amince da afuwar da gwamnati ta yi musu, Abbe ya ba da tabbacin cewa za a gyara su, a sake haɗe su da kuma taimaka musu ta kowace hanya da za su iya dogaro da kansu a rayuwa.[8]
