Ɗan siyasar Najeriya

Dan Patrick Archibong (4 Oktoba 1943 – 11 Maris 1990)[1] sojan Najeriya ne wanda ya kasance Gwamnan Soja na Jihar Kuros Riba daga watan Janairu shekarar 1984 zuwa 1986.[2]

Archibong ya samu gurbin karatu a Kwalejin Tsaro ta Najeriya (NDA), Kaduna a cikin Janairu 1964. Bai kammala kwas da ajinsa na asali ba saboda rikicin shekarar 1966. Ya koma NDA bayan yaƙin kuma an ba shi aiki a watan Agustan 1970, tare da rasa babban matsayi.[3] An naɗa Archibong a matsayin Kanar, an naɗa Archibong Gwamnan Soja na Jihar Kuros Riba a watan Janairun 1984 bayan juyin mulkin da Janar Muhammadu Buhari ya karɓi mulki, kuma ya riƙe muƙamin har zuwa shekarar 1986.[2]

An kara masa girma zuwa Brigadier, Archibong shi ne Darakta na Sashen Nazarin Haɗin gwiwa a Kwamandan Sojoji da Kwalejin Ma’aikata, Jaji daga 16 ga Janairu 1988 zuwa 1 ga Janairu 1990.[4]

Ya kasance yana riƙe da matsayin babban hafsan hafsoshin Najeriya lokacin da ya rasu a ranar 11 ga Maris 1990 a wani hatsarin mota da ya rutsa da shi a hanyar Legas zuwa Ibadan.[5] Babu wanda ya shaida lamarin kuma ba a samu wasu raunuka ba, lamarin da ya sa aka riƙa yada jita-jitar cewa mutuwar tasa ba bisa kuskure ba ce.[6]
