Akinwumi "Akin" Adesina shi ne Shugaban Bankin Raya Kasashen Afirka. Ya fara aiki ne a matsayin Ministan Noma Da Raya Yankunan Karkara na Najeriya.[1]Har zuwa lokacin da aka nada shi a matsayin Minista a shekarar ta 2010, ya kasance Mataimakin Shugaban Siyasa da Kawance na Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA).[2]An zabe shi ne a matsayin Shugaban Babban Bankin Raya Kasashen Afirka a shekarar 2015, sannan aka sake zabarsa a karo na biyu a shekara, 2020. Shi ne dan Najeriya na farko da ya taba rike wannan mukami.[3]

Akinwumi Adesina

An haifi Adesina ne a Najeriya a garin Ibadan, jihar Oyo .[4] Ya halarci makarantar ƙauye kuma ya kammala karatun digirinsa na farko a fannin tattalin Arzikin Noma tare da Darajoji na Farko a Jami'ar Ife, a Nijeriya (1981), inda shi ne ɗalibi na farko da jami'ar ta ba wannan darajar. Ya cigaba da karatunsa a Jami'ar Purdue da ke Indiana, a takaice ya dawo Nijeriya a shekarar 1984 don yin aure.[5] Ya sami digirin-digirgir (PhD) a Fannin Tattalin Arzikin Noma a shekara 1988 daga nan ya soma aiki da kuma gudanar da bincike-bincikensa.[6]

Daga shekarar ta 1990 zuwa shekarar ta 1995, Adesina ya yi aiki a matsayin babban masanin tattalin arziki a Cibiyar Cigaban Shinkafa ta Yammacin Afirka (WARDA) a Bouaké, Ivory Coast. [7] Ya yi aiki a Gidauniyar Rockefeller tun lokacin da ya ci gajiyar haɗin gwiwa daga Gidauniyar a matsayin babban masanin kimiyya a shekara ta 1988. Daga shekara ta1999 zuwa shekarar 2003 ya kasance wakilin Gidauniyar yankin Afirka ta kudu.[8]Daga 2003 har zuwa 2008 ya kasance babban Darektan tsaro na abinci.[9]

Adesina ya kasance Ministan Noma ne a Najeriya daga shekara ta 2010 zuwa shekarar 2015. [10] An zabi Adesina a matsayin gwarzon dan Afrika na Forbes saboda garambawul da ya yi a harkar noma a Najeriya. Ya gabatar da karin haske a cikin tsarin samar da takin zamani.[11]Ya kuma ce zai bai wa manoma wayoyin hannu amma wannan ya zama da matukar wahala. Daya daga cikin dalilan shi ne rashin hanyar sadarwa ta wayar salula a yankunan Karkara kasar.[12]

A shekara ta 2010, Sakatare Janar na Majalisar Dinkin Duniya Ban Ki-moon ya nada shi a matsayin daya daga cikin shugabannin duniya 17 da za su jagoranci Bunkasar Millennium [13].

A ranar 28 ga watan Mayu, a shekara ta 2015, an zabi Adesina a matsayin shugaban bankin bunkasa Afirka. Ya fara aikinsa ne na ofis a ranar 1 ga watan Satumba a shekarar ta 2015.[14]

A watan Satumbar shekarar ta 2016, Babban Sakatare ne na Majalisar Dinkin Duniya Ban Ki-moon ya nada Adesina don ya zama memba na Rukunin Gamayyar Kungiyar Kula da Nutrition. [15]

A cikin shekara ta 2017, an ba shi kyautar 2017 ta abinci a Duniya[16] .

A ranar 27 ga watan Agusta a shekarar 2020, an sake zaben Adesina a matsayin Shugaban Bankin Raya Kasashen Afirka a karo na biyu na shekaru biyar.[17]

  • A ranar 28 ga watan Janairun a shekara ta 2020, Jami'ar Tarayya ta Agurisure, Abeokuta, Nijeriya ta ba shi lambar girmamawa ta Likitan Kimiyya.[22]
  • 2019 : Babban Jami'in Orderasa na Nationalabi'ar ofasar Tunisia.[23]
