Adamu Abdu-Kafarati (1954-2021) lauya ne na Najeriya. Ya kasance babban alƙali na Babban Kotun Tarayya ta Najeriya . [1]

An haifi Kafarati a shekara ta 1954 a Kwami, wata karamar hukuma ce a Jihar Gombe . Ya halarci makarantar firamare ta Kafarati tsakanin Janairu 1962 da Disamba 1968. Ya halarci Makarantar Sakandare ta Gwamnati, Gombe, tsakanin 1969 da 1973. Ya kuma halarci Kwalejin Fasaha da Kimiyya ta Arewa maso Gabas (NECAS), Maiduguri, tsakanin Oktoba 1973 da Yuni 1975. Ya yi karatun shari'a a Jami'ar Ahmadu Bello, Zaria, daga Oktoba 1975 zuwa Yuni 1978, kuma ya kammala karatun sa daga Makarantar Shari'a ta Najeriya, Legas (LAW school), a shekara ta 1979.[2]

Kafarati ya fara aikinsa ne bayan kammala Yiwa Kasa Hidima (NYSC) a matsayin mai ba da shawara na 2 a jihar na Ma'aikatar Shari'a ta Jihar Bauchi. Ya zama babban lauyan jihar a shekarar 1987 kuma ya yi aiki a matsayin mataimakin babban jami'in, kafin a nada shi alƙali na Babban Kotun Tarayya a ranar 31 ga Oktoba, 1991. An rantsar da shi a matsayin mukaddashin babban alƙali na Babban Kotun Tarayya a ranar 16 ga Satumba, 2017, kuma daga ƙarshe ya zama babban alƙalin kotun a ranar 7 ga Yuni, 2018. [3] Adam Abdu-Kafarati ya yi ritaya bayan watanni 13, yana da shekaru 65 da ya yi ritayar shekara a ranar 25 ga Yuli, 2019. [4]

Adamu Abdu Kafarati ya rasu a ranar 25 ga Fabrairu, 2021, da misalin karfe 7:30 na yamma, Bayan Sallar Magariba da ya sabayi a Garin Abuja.[5]
