Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah (an haife shine a 15 ga watan Maris shekara ta 1948) ya samu matsayin Ministan Noma na Najeriya a ranar 6 ga watan Afrilun shekara ta 2010, lokacin da mukaddashin shugaban kasa Goodluck Jonathan ya sanar majalisa sababbin ministocinsa da ya zaba.[1]

An haifi Ahmed Abdullah ne a ranar 15 ga watan Maris shekara ta 1948 a garin Bidda na jihar Neja . Ya sami B.Sc. a cikin kasuwanci na kasuwanci daga Jami'ar Ahmadu Bello (ABU), Zariya a shekarar 1974 ya kammala a wannan shekarar tare da Abdullahi Aliyu Sumaila babban amininsa, kuma ya sami MBA daga Jami'ar Syracuse a Amurka a shekara ta 1977.[2]

Ahmed Abdullah ya kwashe mafi yawan aikinsa a ABU a fannin ilimin mutane da ci gaban gudanarwa, sannan a shekara ta 1990 jami'ar ta bashi PhD. Marigayi Gen. Sani Abacha ya nada Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah a cikin kwamitin hangen nesa na shekara ta 2010 sannan kuma ya sanya shi mukamin kwamishina na Tarayya a Hukumar Kula da Haraji, Alkaura da Kudi. Ya kasance babban darekta a Kwalejin Ma'aikata ta Nijeriya (ASCON) a Badagry daga shekara ta 2003 zuwa shekara ta 2008, cibiyar da ke horar da ɗalibai a cikin ayyukan gwamnati. A watan Agustar na shekara ta 2008 aka nada shi shugaban Kwamitin Gudanarwa na Jami’ar Abuja. An nada shi shugaban kungiyar Cibiyar Kula da Cibiyoyin Kula da Ci gaban Afirka a Pretoria, Afirka ta Kudu.[3]

A matsayinsa na Ministan Noma, Abdullah yana fuskantar manyan kalubale a bangaren da ke daukar kashi 70% na 'yan Najeriya. Duk da tsananin inje na tallafin, samarda kayan aikin yayi karanci, tare da damuwa dayawa kan ingancin shirye-shiryen da suke gudana.
