Bankole Ajibabi Omotoso wanda aka fi sani da Kole Omotoso (an haife shi ranar 21 ga watan Afrilu 1943 - 19 ga Yuli 2023). marubuci kuma ɗan Najeriya ne kuma haziƙi wanda aka fi sani da ayyukan almara kuma a Afirka ta Kudu a matsayin "Yebo Gogo man" a cikin tallan kamfanin sadarwa na Vodacom.[1] Rubuce-rubucen sunyi fice sa akan sifar sadaukarwa da jajircewa don haɓaka sake fasalin zamantakewa da siyasa na Afirka da mutunta juna tsakanin ɗan adam.

An haifi Kole Omotosso a cikin dangin Yarbawa a Akure, Jihar Ondo, Najeriya.[2] Mahaifiyarsa da kakanninsa sun taso bayan rasuwar mahaifinsa. [3] Duk da cewa rashin uba na iya murkushe matashi dan Najeriya, abubuwan da suka faru a lokacin kuruciyarsa sun taimaka matuka wajen ci gabansa a matsayinsa na mutum da kuma marubuci. [3] Omotoso ya yi karatu a Kwalejin King da ke Legas da Jami'ar Ibadan sannan ya yi bincike a karatun digiri na uku a kan marubucin Larabci na zamani Ahmad Ba Kathir a Jami'ar Edinburgh.[4][5]

Omotoso ya koma Ibadan inda ya yi lacca kan karatun Larabci (1972 – 76), sannan ya koma jami’ar Ife inda ya yi aikin wasan kwaikwayo (1976 – 88). Ya zama marubuci ga mujallu daban-daban (ciki har da Afirka ta Yamma) a cikin shekarun 1970 kuma ya yi fice a cikin jiga-jigan Najeriya. Manyan jigoginsa sun hada da auratayya tsakanin kabilu, abubuwan ban dariya na rikicin Biafra da Najeriya, da yanayin dan Adam—kamar yadda ake misalta abota tsakanin Yarbawa da Igbo da kuma dangantaka tsakanin yara da iyaye.

Littafinsa na tarihi a shekarar 1988 game da Najeriya, Just Kafin Dawn (Spectrum Books), ya jawo cece-kuce kuma ya jagoranci Omotoso ya bar kasarsa ta haihuwa. A cikin tsakiyar 1990s da 2010 ya bayyana a matsayin "Yebo Gogo man" a cikin tallace-tallace na talabijin na kamfanin wayoyin hannu watau Vodacom.[1][8]
