An haifi Allassani a kusa da 1906 a Gumo wani yanki na gundumar Kumbungu kusan kilomita 9 daga Tamale a Yankin Arewa, Ghana sannan yanki na Togoland a ƙarƙashin rikon amanar Burtaniya. Ya yi karatunsa na firamare a makarantun katolika da ke Tamale, Elmina, Sunyani, kuma a ƙarshe a makarantar St. Peter da ke Kumasi. Ya shiga Kwalejin Horar da Malamai ta Gwamnati a shekara ta 1924 kuma ya kammala da takardar shaidar sa ta 'A' a shekarar 1926.[2]

Allassani ya fara koyarwa a 1927 a St. Peter's Roman Catholic School, Kumasi. Ya yi koyarwa a wajen kimanin shekara ashirin da biyu. A cikin shekarata 1949 ya yi murabus don ɗaukar mukami a matsayin sakataren Gwamnatin 'Yan Asalin Dagomba. A waccan shekarar, an zaɓe shi a cikin Majalisar Yankin Arewa kuma a cikin 1951 an zaɓe shi zuwa majalisar dokoki a matsayin wakilin Dagomba Gabas akan tikitin Convention People's Party.[3][4][5] Ya hau karagar mulki a hukumance a ranar 8 ga Fabrairun shekarar 1951. A ranar 1 ga Afrilu 1951, an nada shi sakataren minista (mataimakin minista) a ma’aikatar raya kasa kuma a ranar 20 ga Yunin shekarar 1954 aka nada shi Ministan Ilimi, a hukumance ya fara aiki a ranar 21 ga Yuni na wannan shekarar.[6][7] A cikin 1955 da 1956 ya yi jayayya don haɗewar Arewacin Togoland tare da Kogin Zinariya a gaban Majalisar Amintattu ta Majalisar Dinkin Duniya.[8] An nada shi ministan kiwon lafiya a watan Yunin shekarar 1956[9][10][11][12] har zuwa watan Satumba na 1959 lokacin da aka nada shi Ministan Gana a Guinea.[13] Ya rike wannan ofishi har zuwa ranar 30 ga Yuni 1960 lokacin da aka nada shi shugaban gidajen karkara a hukumance ya fara aiki a ranar jamhuriya; 1 Yulin shekarar 1960. Ya yi aiki a wannan matsayin har zuwa 1 ga Janairu lokacin da aka nada shi shugaban Kamfanin Paints na Jiha. Ya rike wannan ofishi har zuwa watan Fabrairun 1966 lokacin da aka hambarar da gwamnatin Nkrumah.[2] A lokacin da yake rike da mukamin jami’in gwamnati, ya yi aiki a kan kwamitoci da kwamitoci daban -daban, wasu da suka hada da; Kwamitin Zaɓin Siyarwa, Kwamitin Tender na Tsakiya, Kwamitin Erzuah kan Albashin Ma'aikata da Kwamitin Sufuri a Yankunan Arewa.[14] A zamanin gwamnatin Majalisar 'Yanci ta kasa an yanke masa hukuncin daurin watanni 3 tare da aiki tukuru ta hannun wasu kadarori guda biyu kan hukuncin karya da raina Hukumar Adalci Apaloo.[15][16]
