Ganuwa a Birnin Kano
Tsoffin Ganuwan Birnin Kano ( Hausa : Ganuwa ko Badala) tsoffin katangun kariya ne waɗanda aka gina domin kare mazaunan tsohon garin na Kano.[1] An fara gina bangon tun daga shekarar ta alib 1095 zuwa shekara ta alib 1134 kuma an kammala shi a tsakiyar ƙarni na 14. An bayyana Tsoffin Ganuwan Birnin Kano a matsayin "mafi kyawun abin tarihi a Afirka ta Yamma ".[2]

gyara sasheAn Gina Tsoffin Ganuwan Kano a matsayin katangar kariya tare da gina harsashin da Sarki Gijimasu (r. 1095–1134), sarki na uku na Masarautar Kano a cikin Tarihin Kano.[3] A tsakiyar karni na 14 a zamanin Zamnagawa, an kammala katangar kafin a kara faɗaɗa ta a karni na 16.[4] A cewar masana tarihi. Janar-Gwamna na Mulkin mallaka da kare Najeriya, Fredrick Lugard, ya rubuta a cikin rahoton 1903 game da Ganuwar Kano cewa "bai taɓa ganin wani abu makamancin haka ba a Afirka" bayan ya kame tsohon garin Kano tare da Sojojin Burtaniya.[5]
