Charles ya fito daga gidan sarauta ne. Ya taso tare da kakarsa, da kyar ya tuna da mahaifiyarsa domin tun yana karami an tura shi wani wuri na daban domin ya rike kakarsa da ta tsufa. Ya yi fatan wata rana ya zama lauya, amma ya sauya ra’ayi a lokacin da ya halarci wurin shakatawa na marubutan Bode Osoyin, inda ya yanke shawarar samun takardar shedar karatu a fannin fasahar ban mamaki. A shekarar 1993, ya cimma wannan buri, kuma daga baya ya kammala karatunsa a Jami’ar Fatakwal a 1999.[2]

Bayan ya yanke shawarar shiga wasan kwaikwayo, sai ya shiga kungiyoyin wasannin kwaikwayo da wuraren wasanni daban-daban a garinsa kuma ya fara yin wasan kwaikwayo. Daga baya ya yanke shawarar kara samun ilimi a fannin wasan kwaikwayo sannan ya shiga shirin wasan kwaikwayo na shekara daya a gidan shakatawa na Bode Osoyin Writers Resort, inda ya samu takardar shedar karatu a fannin wasan kwaikwayo bayan ya kammala shirin a shekarar 1993.[ana buƙatar hujja]

Inojie ya shiga masana'antar fina-finan Najeriya ta Nollywood a hukumance a shekara ta1999. Ya fara aikinsa yana aiki a matsayin mataimakin daraktan fina-finai kafin ya fara aiki na cikakken lokaci a harkar fim da bayar da umarni. A wata zantawa da yayi da jarumin wasan barkwanci a kwanakin baya, ya bayyana cewa bayan kammala karatunsa na jami’ar Fatakwal a shekarar 1999 ya koma jihar Legas. Ya zama mataimakin darakta a kamfanin samar da Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen. A shekara ta 2016, mambobin kungiyar Screen Writers Guild of Nigeria (SWGN) sun zabi Inojie a matsayin shugaban kungiyar kwadago.[ana buƙatar hujja]
