Allidina Visram
Allidina Visram (1851 - 30 Yuni 1916) ta kasance mazaunin Indiya, 'yar kasuwa, kuma mai ba da agaji wanda ya taka muhimmiyar rawa a ci gaban Gabashin Afirka ta Burtaniya .

gyara sasheAn haifi Visram a Kera, Kutch, a cikin Shugabancin Bombay na Indiya ta Burtaniya a 1851. Ya yi ƙaura ba tare da kuɗi ba zuwa Zanzibar yana da shekaru 12, kuma ya sami aiki tare da wani fitaccen ɗan kasuwa na gida, Sewa Haji Paroo, ɗaya daga cikin masu ba da kuɗi na kasuwancin caravan.[1][2] Ba da daɗewa ba ya fita kuma ya fara shirya kansa a cikin ciki. Ya sami gagarumin nasarar kasuwanci bayan ya shiga kasuwancin hauren giwa kuma ya zo da ra'ayin samar da abinci ga mafarauta a kan balaguro. A lokacin da ake gina hanyar jirgin kasa ta Uganda, ya bude shagunan da yawa a kan hanya kuma ya zama mai samar da abinci ga ma'aikatan Indiya a kan layin. Ya sami amincewar injiniyoyin su na Burtaniya, kuma an ba shi kwangila don biyan ma'aikatan Indiya kuma a lokaci guda samar da kudade ga masu ginin Burtaniya.[3] Bayan rasuwar Sewa Hajji Paroo a shekara ta 1897 ya faɗaɗa kasuwancin caravan zuwa Uganda kuma ya zama sananne a matsayin Sarkin Ivory .
A shekara ta 1904 ya shiga aikin gona kuma nan da nan ya zama mai mallakar manyan shuke-shuke bakwai. Wani rahoto daga babban sakataren a Entebbe, ya lura cewa ta hanyar kasuwancinsa ya taimaka wa masana'antu na cikin gida ta hanyar sayen amfanin gona na asali, wanda babu wanda zai taɓa shi, a farashin da ke nufin asarar kansa. Ana ɗaukar ayyukansa a matsayin waɗanda suka taimaka wajen haɓaka haɓaka samar da gida a sassa na Gabashin Afirka kuma sun ba da gudummawa ga sauyawa daga musayar zuwa tattalin arzikin kuɗi.[4] A shekara ta 1909 an kiyasta yana da wakilai 17 da ke aiki a Belgian Congo kuma ya bambanta zuwa masana'antun soda da shagunan yin kayan gida a Kampala da Entebbe, masana'antun mai a Kisumu da bakin teku, masana'antar yin sabulu a Mombasa, cibiyoyin yin auduga guda biyu a Mombas da Entebbe kuma ya ga masana'antun kusa da Nyeri.[5] Bugu da kari ya shiga cikin kasuwancin sufuri, yana aiki da kekuna a kan ƙasa, da jiragen ruwa da jirgin ruwa a Tafkin Victoria.[6]
A cikin 1900 ya goyi bayan kirkirar kungiyar Indiya ta Mombasa kuma a cikin 1914 ya kasance memba mai kafa Majalisar Dokokin Indiya ta Gabashin Afirka.[7][8] Ya mutu a Mombasa a watan Yunin 1916 daga zazzabi da ya samu yayin da yake tafiya ta kasuwanci a Kongo. A lokacin mutuwarsa yana da shaguna sama da 240 a Gabashin Afirka da Kongo. An kuma san shi da yawa saboda aikinsa na jin kai kuma ya ba da gudummawa mai yawa ga makarantu da asibitoci a duk faɗin Gabashin Afirka, gami da masallaci a Kampala da babban coci na Anglican.[9] An ga nasararsa a matsayin wahayi ga yawancin 'yan kasarsa daga Kutch don yin hijira zuwa Gabashin Afirka don neman rayuwa mafi kyau. An dauke shi a matsayin mutum na farko da ya bude shago a Kampala (babban birnin Uganda na yanzu). An san shi sosai a tarihin tattalin arzikin Gabashin Afirka.
