Abdulkadir Ahmed (An haifeshi a ranar 31 ga watan Oktoban 1940, kuma ya mutu a 1997) ya kasance ɗan kasuwar Nijeriya kuma ma'aikacin gwamnati wanda ya kasance Gwamnan Babban Bankin Najeriya tsakanin 1982 da 1993.

An haifi Ahmed a ranar 31 ga Oktoba 1940 a garin Jama'are, a jihar Bauchi (jiha). Ya halarci kwalejin Barewa, Zariya a 1955. Ya shiga kamfanin New Nigerian Development Company a watan Janairu, 1960. Ahmed ya yi karatu a Jami’ar Ife a 1961. Ya kammala Kwalejin Kudu maso Yammacin London a 1972.Ahmed ya zama Kwamishinan Kudi na jihar Bauchi ( Maris 1976 - Yuni 1977). An nada shi Mataimakin Gwamna tare da Babban Bankin Najeriya a shekarar 1977.[1] Kafin ya zama Kwamishinan Kudi, Ahmed yana da kwarewar zartarwa a kamfanin bunkasa cigaban Arewacin Najeriya (NNDC) kuma ya wakilci kamfanin a hukumomin kamfanonin da ke hade da su kamar Arewa Textiles Mills, na Arewa Nigeria Textiles Mills, Kamfanin Siminti na Arewacin Najeriya da Arewa Hotels. Ya shiga NNDC a 1960 kuma an dauki nauyin horar da shi a hukumomi a Najeriya da kasashen waje. Ya yi aiki a matsayin akawun kungiyar na kungiyar kuma a cikin 1974, ya zama mai kula da harkokin kudi na kungiyar.[2]

Ahmed ya kasance fellow a Kwalejin kwararru da Sharuɗɗan Akantoci da kuma Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

Gwamnan Babban Banki

Ahmed an nada shi Gwamnan Bankin ne a ranar 27 ga Yuni 1982 kuma ya yi ritaya a 30 ga Satumba 1993. Ya rike mukamin na tsawon shekaru 11 a lokacin mulkin dimokiradiyya na Shehu Shagari da na rikon kwarya na Ernest Shonekan, da gwamnatocin soja na Janar Janar Buhari da Ibrahim Babangida [3].

Shi ne shugaban farko na kwamitin hukumar inshora na Najeriya lokacin da aka kafa shi a ranar 15 ga Yuni 1988[4]
