Cif Wuraola Adepeju Esan (1909–1985). Ta kasance malamar Nijeriya, mai son ilimin mata da siyasa. Ta hade burinta na siyasa da ta wata sarauniyar gargajiya ta zama Iyalode na Ibadan . [1]

Wuraola Adepeju Esan an haife ta a shekarar 1909 a garin Calabar.[2] Iyayenta ba su sami horon ilimine yamma ba duk da cewa sun inganta karatun ilimin yamma ga yaransu. Esan ta halarci Kwalejin 'Yan mata ta Baptist, Idi Aba, Abeokuta kafin ta ci gaba zuwa United Missionary College don samun difloma kan horar da malamai. Daga 1930 zuwa 1934, ta kasance malama mai koyar da ilimin cikin gida a wata makarantar horas da mishan a Akure . Daga baya ta auri Victor Esan a 1934 kuma sun ɗan zauna a Legas . Bayan 'yan shekaru sai ta koma garinsu na Ibadan.[3]

A shekarar 1944, ta kafa Makarantar Grammar School ta Jama'ar Ibadan a Molete, don ilimantar da mata fannoni daban-daban ciki har da ilimin gida. Koyaya, ra'ayoyinta da ra'ayoyin siyasa masu zuwa ba sa yin kira da a fadada hangen nesa game da matsayin mata a cikin babbar al'umma. [4]

A cikin shekarun 1950, ta shiga siyasa ta bangaranci kuma tana memba a reshen mata na theungiyar Action. Kodayake mata sun kasance mahimman kayan aiki don samun ƙuri'a, kaɗan ne aka ba su ikon hukuma da nauyin jam'iyya duka. Koyaya, Esan ta sami damar tsallakewa zuwa mukamai don zama mace ta farko a Majalisar Dokokin Najeriya, a matsayin sanata da aka zaba daga Ibadan Yamma. Ta kuma kasance memba na kafa Nationalungiyar Soungiyoyin Mata ta Nationalasa. A shekarar 1975, ta dauki matsayin Iyalode kuma ta sami mukamin babban sarki a Ibadan. [1]
