Paul Omu
Paul Ufuoma Omu' (an haife shi a watan Yuli 1940) shi ne Gwamnan Soja na Jihar Kudu-maso-Gabas, Nijeriya (wanda aka canza masa suna da Jihar Kuros Riba a cikin Fabrairu 1976) tsakanin Yuli 1975 zuwa Yuli 1978 a lokacin mulkin soja na Janar Murtala Muhammed da da Olusegun Obasanjo.[1][2][3].

Aikin soja
gyara sasheOmu ya shiga aikin soja ne a ranar 10 ga Disamba, 1962, kuma ya kasance kwas mate ga Ibrahim Babangida, Sani Bello da Garba Duba a Kwalejin horar da sojoji ta Najeriya. Ya halarci Makarantar Mons Officer Cadet School, Aldershot a Burtaniya kuma an ba shi aiki a ranar 25 ga Yuli, 1963. Ya kasance Kwamanda, 33 Infantry Brigade a watan Yuli 1975, lokacin da aka nada shi Gwamnan Jihar Kudu-maso-Gabas[4].
A shekarar 1984 ne gwamnatin Muhammadu Buhari ta kafa kotunan soji domin hukunta wasu jami’an gwamnati na zamanin Shehu Shagari da ake zargi da wawure dukiyar jama’a. An nada Omu shugaban kotun shari’ar shiyyar Legas.[5] Kotun ta samu yawancin ‘yan siyasa da laifi, inda ta yanke hukuncin dauri na tsawon shekaru daban-daban[6]. A watan Satumba 1985 Omu ya kasance Kwamanda, Kwamanda da Kwaleji na Ma’aikata kuma memba a Majalisar Mulki ta Sojoji[5]. Lokacin da Janar Ibrahim Babangida ya yanke shawarar sauya sheka zuwa mulkin farar hula, sai ya nada Omu shugaban kwamitin mutane tara don duba shawarwarin ofishin siyasa da kuma rubuta wata farar takarda kan sauyin mulki[7].
Omu ya yi ritaya daga aikin soja ne da mukamin Manjo Janar a ranar 3 ga Satumba, 1990 tare da manyan hafsa a watannin da suka biyo bayan yunkurin juyin mulkin Orkar/Mukoro na Afrilu 1990, duk da cewa ba shi da hannu a juyin mulkin.[4]

A cikin watan Afrilun 2008, Omu ya kasance shugaban kwamitin sulhu na jam’iyyar People’s Democratic Party a Kudu-maso-Kudu, wanda aka kafa domin warware sabanin da ke tsakanin bangarorin jam’iyyar.[9] A watan Yulin 2008, Gwamnan Jihar Delta Emmanuel Uduaghan ya nada Omu mamba a Majalisar Dokokin Jihar Delta ta Vision 2020, wanda aka dora wa alhakin bayyana hangen nesa da shirin ci gaban jihar na tsawon lokaci.[10] A watan Satumbar 2009 Shugaba Umaru Musa 'Yar'adua ya nada Omu shugaban kwamitin gudanarwa na Cibiyar Nazarin Siyasa da Dabaru ta kasa (NIPSS) mai mutum 10, wanda aka dora wa alhakin bitar dokokin cibiyar.[11]
An kaddamar da Omu a matsayin shugaban kungiyar cigaban Isoko (IDU) wadda ita ce kungiyar masu magana da harshen Isoko na yankin Neja Delta a jihar Delta, Najeriya, domin jagorantar batutuwan da suka shafi al'ummar Isoko, jihar Delta, da Najeriya. gaba ɗaya. Ya gaji Dakta Gregory Oke Akpojene, wanda wa’adinsa ya kasance daga 1993 zuwa 1996. A watan Janairun 2014 ne wa’adin mulkin Omu ya kare.
