Masarautar Biu masarautar gargajiya ce da ke a Biu a cikin jihar Borno, Najeriya . Kafin 1920 ana kiran ta da Masarautar Biu. Mai mulkin yanzu, wanda yake a ranar 14 ga watan Satumbar 2020 ya ayyana shi,[1]shi ne Maidalla Mustafa dan Aliyu (b. 1915) wanda ya zama Mai Biu, shi ma ya yi wa Kuthli, a cikin 1959.[2]

gyara sasheSarakunan Biu an kirga su ne daga Abdullahi, wanda daga baya ake kira Yamta-ra-Wala ko Yamta Babban, wanda ya kafa mulkinsa a kusan 1535.[3]Wajen 1670, a cikin mulkin Mari Watila Tampta, ya zama sananne da masarauta.[4]Babban ƙabilun shine mutanen Babur / Bura, masu alaƙa da mutanen Kanuri . [5] An ce wanda ya kirkiro ya taho daga wani wuri, ya kame babban garin da ke yankin, sannan ya kafa sabon babban birni a Dlimbur, wanda yanzu ya zama wurin tarihi. Zuriyarsa sun kafa dauloli guda biyu masu adawa da juna, ɗaya a Kogu ɗayan kuma a kusa da Mandaragirau .[6]
Sarki Mari Watirwa (r. 1793-1838) na Kogu ya fatattaki Fulani maharan daga Masarautar Gombe zuwa yamma. A cikin 1878 Mari Biya, ya zama sarki Bura na farko da ya yi sarauta daga Biu. Fadar sarki yanzu tana cikin garin. [7]Tare da mulkin mallaka na Burtaniya, an ƙirƙiri rukunin Biu a cikin 1918. An yarda da Mai Ari Dogo a matsayin sarkin Biu na farko a shekarar 1920. Yankin ya zama sanannu da tarayyar Biu bayan 1957, lokacin da aka kara gundumomin Shani da Askira zuwa masarautar.[8]
Masarautar Biu ta hada da kananan hukumomin Biu, Hawul, Kwaya Kusar da Bayo .[9] a hanyar masarautar Biu ta kasance koyaushe ta samar da Mataimakin Gwamnan Jihar Borno, wanda ke wakiltar kudancin jihar. [10] Har zuwa kwanan nan, Masarautar Biu na ɗaya daga cikin ukun a jihar Borno, sauran kuma masarautar Borno ce da ta Dikwa .[11] A watan Maris na 2010 Gwamnan jihar Borno Ali Modu Sheriff ya raba tsohuwar Masarautar Dikwa zuwa sabuwar Masarautar Bama da Dikwa.[12]Wannan ya haifar da koke-koke daga mutanen Hawul, Kwaya Kusar da Bayo don su ma su sami sarakuna daban-daban, wanda gwamnan ya ce zai yi "idan buƙatar hakan ta taso".[13]
