gyara sasheFarfesa Ogunmola ya samu digirin farko da digirin digirgir a fannin ilmin sinadarai daga Jami’ar Ibadan a shekarun 1965 da 1968.[3] A cikin watan Yuli 1968, ya shiga sashen Chemistry, Jami'ar Ibadan a matsayin abokin bincike na gaba da digiri kuma a cikin shekarar 1969, ya bar UI ya shiga Jami'ar Pennsylvania a matsayin abokin bincike na gaba a Johnson Research Foundation, Sashen Biophysics da Medical Physics.[4] A shekarar 1970, ya koma Jami’ar Ibadan a matsayin ma’aikaci a harkokin ilimi a sashen kimiyyar sinadarai, inda ya zama cikakken farfesa a shekarar 1980 sannan a shekarar 1983 aka naɗa shi Dean, Faculty of Science, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Jihar Ogun a lokacin Jami'a.[5] A cikin shekarar 1981, an zaɓe shi a matsayin fellow na Kwalejin Kimiyya ta Najeriya kuma a cikin watan Janairu 2003, an zaɓe shi shugaban Cibiyar Kimiyya ta Najeriya ya gaji Farfesa Alexander Animalu.[6] A shekarar 2005, ya yi ritaya daga Jami’ar Ibadan, kuma a shekarar 2004, kafin ya yi ritaya, an naɗa shi mamba, na Majalisar mai bawa shugaban ƙasa shawara kan kimiyya da fasaha ta Honorary Presidential Advisory Council on Science and Technology.[7]
