An haifi Irobi a ranar 10 ga watan Junaidu a shikara 1960. Ya yi Digiri na farko a fannin Fasaha a Turanci/Drama da Jagoran Fasaha a Adabin Kwatancen a Jami'ar Najeriya, Nsukka, Jagoran Fasaha a Fina-Finai da wasan kwaikwayo daga Jami'ar Sheffield, Sheffield UK sannan ya yi digiri na uku a fannin wasan kwaikwayo daga Jami'ar Leeds, UK. Ya koyar a Jami'ar Liverpool John Moores a Ingila da Tisch School of Arts na Jami'ar New York, kuma shi ne mataimakin farfesa a fannin wasan kwaikwayo na ƙasa da ƙasa da nazarin fina-finai a Jami'ar Ohio, Athens, Amurka.[4]

Ya mutu a Berlin a ranar 3 ga watan Mayun 2010.[5]
