Emmanuel Katongole (ɗan kasuwa)
Emmanuel Katongole (an haife shi 27 Afrilu 1962), ɗan ƙasar Uganda ne, masanin tattalin arziki, ɗan kasuwa, ɗan kasuwan zamani kuma masanin masana'antu. Shi ne shugaban zartarwa na Cipla Quality Chemical Industries Limited (CQCIL), kamfani daya tilo a yankin kudu da hamadar sahara, wanda aka ba da izinin kera magungunan rigakafin cutar kanjamau sau uku.[1][2] Tun daga shekarar 2014, ya kuma kasance shugaban Kamfanin Mai na Uganda.[3]

gyara sasheYa halarci Kwalejin Namilyango don karatun sakandare. Ya yi karatu a Makerere University, inda ya kammala karatunsa na digiri na biyu a fannin kididdiga (B.Stat). Haka kuma an samu Jagoransa na Fasaha a fannin tattalin arziki da tsare-tsare daga Jami’ar Makerere. Ya halarci wasu darussa na gajeren lokaci a fannin tattalin arziki, kididdiga da gudanarwa, daga cibiyoyi a Uganda da Turai.[1]

gyara sasheA shekara ta 1997, Katongole, Randall Tierney, Francis X. Kitaka, Frederick Mutebi Kitaka da George Baguma, sun kafa kamfani mai suna Quality Chemicals Limited (QCL). Kamfanin ya kware wajen shigo da magungunan dabbobi da na mutane daga Indiya. Katongole ya kasance manajan darakta kuma babban jami'in gudanarwa da kuma mai hannun jari daga shekarun 1997 har zuwa 2007.[1] A shekarar 2004, QCL ya shawo kan Cipla, mai yin magunguna na Indiya, don samar da haɗin gwiwa kuma ya kafa masana'antar harhada magunguna a Uganda. An karya ƙasa a shekarar 2005 kuma an ƙaddamar da masana'antar a shekarar 2007. Kamfanin haɗin gwiwar asalin an san shi da Quality Chemical Industries Limited.[4] Katongole shine babban jami'in gudanarwa na QCIL daga shekarun 2007 har zuwa 2013.[5]
A cikin watan Nuwamba 2013, Cipla ya ɗauki mafi rinjaye sha'awar QCIL, ya sake sunan kamfanin CIPLAQCIL kuma ya nada Katongole shugaban zartarwa na kamfanin. Ya kasance mai hannun jari a cikin kasuwancin.[6] A watan Yulin 2014, Shugaba Yoweri Museveni ya nada Katongole a matsayin shugaban kamfanin mai na Uganda.[7]

Majalissar gudanarwa ta IGD ta kasance karkashin jagorancin Madeleine Albright da Janar Colin L. Powell, duka tsoffin sakatarorin jihar Amurka. Katongole dan Rotarian ne kuma memba ne na kungiyar Rotary na Muyenga. Ya kuma kasance gwamnan gundumar Rotary 9211, wanda ya kunshi Tanzaniya da Uganda. An kuma nada shi shugaban asusun ba da amsa na kasa ga Covid-19 ta shugaban Uganda a ranar 8 ga watan Afrilu 2020.[8] Ya kuma kasance shugaban nadin sabon Archbishop na Kampala, His Grace Dr. Paul Ssemogerere, wanda aka gudanar a ranar 25 ga watan Janairu 2022.[9] Katongole, dan darikar Roman Katolika ne, a watan Fabrairun 2021 an nada shi a matsayin daya daga cikin coci-coci takwas da za a ba da lambar yabo ta Paparoma.[10]
