A ranar 21 ga watan Oktoban shekara ta alif ɗari tara da sittin da biyu 1962, an haifi David Ibiyeomie a Bonny Island, Jihar Ribas, Najeriya. Shi ɗan asalin garin Bolo ne da ke ƙaramar hukumar Ogu/Bolo a jihar Ribas.[2]

David Ibiyeomie ya halarci makarantar firamare ta Banham da makarantar borikiri ta Government Comprehensive Secondary School, duk a jihar Rivers domin karatun firamare da sakandare. A cikin shekara ta 1980, ya shiga Jami'ar Kimiyya da Fasaha, Port Harcourt.[ana buƙatar hujja]

A cikin shekarar 1995 Ibiyeomie ya shiga Makarantar Littafi Mai Tsarki ta cikakken lokaci a cikin Word of Faith Bible Institute, wani reshe na Hidimar David Oyedepo.[3] Ibiyeomie ya fara Ceto Ministries a ranar Lahadi 13 ga watan Afrilun 1997 tare da mutane 34 da suka halarta.[ana buƙatar hujja]

Bayan kammala karatunsa na Makarantar Littafi Mai Tsarki a Bishop David Oyedepo's Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI), Ibiyeomie ya fara haɗin gwiwa tare da iyalinsa a Victoria Island, Legas; Daga baya ya koma Fatakwal, Jihar Ribas, inda ya fara aikin Salvation Ministries (Glorious Chapel) a ranar 13 ga watan Afrilun 1997, tare da mambobi sama da ashirin da suka halarta.[4]

A cikin watan Yulin 1997, cocin ya ƙaura zuwa wani yanki mai girma.[4] Tun daga shekarar 2017, Ma'aikatun Ceto na kusan masu halarta 50,000 kowace Lahadi a hedkwatarta.[4] A cikin watan Fabrairun 2011, Ceto Ministries sun fara 14 tauraron ɗan adam coci a rana ɗaya, tare da dukan gudu biyar sabis kowane.[2]

Ta hanyar hidimarsa ta talabijin Sa'ar Ceto[5] da sabis na kai tsaye, David Ibiyeomie ya kai miliyoyin masu bauta.[6] Shirin Hour of Salvation TV ya fara ne a tashar NTA 10 Port Harcourt, Jihar Ribas, Najeriya a cikin shekarar 2001 kuma a halin yanzu yana gudana a kan gidajen talabijin sama da 40 a cikin gida da waje.[7] Mawallafi ne kuma yana shirya shirye-shiryen rediyo na intanet.[ana buƙatar hujja]

A cikin shekarar 2010, ya fara gina haikalin kujeru 120,000.[8]

Ibiyeomie ya kasance mai kawo rigima a lokuta da dama. A cikin watan Janairun 2017, an zargi Ibiyeomie da yin kalamai na son zuciya a kan mutanen Ogoni, inda ya jagoranci ƙungiyar fafutukar kare haƙƙin al’ummar Ogoni ta buƙaci ya ba shi haƙuri.[9]

A cikin watan Maris ɗin 2017, ƴar jarida Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo ta yi zargin cewa Ibiyeomie yana yin lalata da ƴar wasan Nollywood Iyabo Ojo.[10] An kama Olunloyo daga baya kuma ya ƙi beli[11][12] saboda bata masa suna. Duk da haka an sake ta.[13] Ibiyeomie ya musanta zargin.[14]
