An haifi Chimezie a ranar 7 ga Janairu, 1992, a jihar Legas, amma ya fito daga ƙaramar hukumar Orsu ta jihar Imo da ke a kudu maso gabashin Najeriya. Yana da shekaru 7, ya kasance cikin ƴan ƙungiyar mawaƙa na cocinsa da ƙungiyoyin wasan kwaikwayo.[1]

Aikin fim da talabijin na Chimezie ya fara ne a cikin shekarar 2014, lokacin da aka naɗa shi a matsayin wanda ya zo na biyu a cikin shirin baiwa na Najeriya, 'The Next Movie Star Reality Show'. Ya fara fitowa wani shirin fim mai suna ‘Learning Curves’ kuma tun daga nan ya fito a wasu shirye-shiryen talabijin kamar ‘Origin’ da kuma wasan barkwanci na ‘90 Gogoro’.

A cikin 2018, Chimezie ya taka rawar a matsayin saurayi mai ruɗewa, yana mai sunkuyar da matsa lamba a Shuga Naija.[2] A wannan shekarar, ya taka rawa cikin ɗaya daga cikin yara maza huɗu a wani wasan barkwanci mai suna Kasala (fim).

A cikin 2019, Chimezie shine wani matashi mai shaye-shayen ƙwayoyi a cikin shirin fim mai suna Nimbe. Ya sami goyon baya dalilin rawar da ya taka a fim ɗin kuma an zaɓe shi acikin jerin wadanda ka iya lashe kyautar; Mafi kyawun ɗan wasan na kyautar Future Awards 2020 da kuma Most Promising Yong Actor a wajen bikin kyautar; Awards Academy Awards (AMAA) 2020.

A cikin 2022, Chimezie ya fito a cikin psychodrama "Choke"[3][4] kuma ya sami yabo saboda aikin da ya yi a ciki a matsayin majinyacin wani mai fama da cutar sikila.[5][6]

A cikin 2023, an zabe shi a matsayin ɗaya daga cikin waɗanda za'a bawa lambar yabo ta Masu Kallon Fina-Finai ta Afirka na kyautar Best Actor in a Leading role for Choke.[7]
