Amadu Ali ya kasan ce wani dan siyasan Ghana ne sannan kuma malami. Ya yi aiki a matsayin dan majalisa mai wakiltar mazabar Atebubu ta Kudu a yankin Brong Ahafo a majalisa ta biyu da ta uku ta jamhuriyar Ghana ta 4.[1]

An haifi Ali a ranar 31st July shekara ta alif dubu daya da dari Tara da hamsin da uku (1953). Ya halarci Makarantar Sakandaren Kasuwanci ta Tamale, inda ya sami Takaddun Jarrabawar Afirka ta Yamma kuma bayan ya kammala a Jami'ar Cape Coast.[2][3]

An zabi Amadu Ali a matsayin dan majalisar dokoki a lokacin da zaben majalisar dokokin kasar ta Ghana a shekarar 1992 a matsayin dan majalisa na farko na jamhuriyar Ghana ta hudu a tikitin National Democratic Congress. Ali ya zama dan majalisa na biyu na Jamhuriya ta 4 ta Ghana lokacin da aka zabe shi a ofis a zabukan gama-gari na Ghana na 1996. Kalmar ta kare a ranar 6 ga wayan Janairun 2001. Sannan ya sake tsayawa takara a lokacin babban zaben kasar Ghana na 2000 . Ya lashe kujerar ne da yawan kuri’u 3,645. Ya kasance dan majalisa mai wakiltar mazabar Atebubu ta Kudu a tikitin jam’iyyar National Democratic Congress daga ranar 7 ga Janairun 1993 har zuwa lokacin da ya rasa kujerarsa a lokacin da babban zaben Ghana na 2004 zuwa ga Emmanuel Owusu Manu lokacin da aka hade yankin ya zama mazabar Atebubu-Amantin.[4][5]

WA lokacin babban zaben Ghana na 2004, Ali ya kuma lashe kujerar bayan ya jefa kuri'u 10,245 wanda ya kasance 52.70% na yawan kuri'un da aka jefa (19,430). Mumuni Ibrahim Mohammed a tikitin jam'iyyar National Patriotic Party ta samu kuri'u 6,600 wanda ke wakiltar 34.00%. Wani abokin hamayya na National Reform Party (NRP) George Kwasi Nyarko ya samu kuri’u 1,794 (9.20%). Sauran kuri'un an raba su tsakanin Anthony Kwame Amevor na Babban Taron Jama'a (PNC) da Annor Z. Nikitins na Jam'iyyar Taron Jama'a (CPP). Sun samu kuri'u 524 (2.70%) da kuri'u 267 (1.40%) bi da bi.[6]
