Obayan ta yi aiki a matsayin Mataimakiyar Shugaban Jami'ar Covenant, Canaanland, Ota, Nigeria[4] daga shekarar 2005 har zuwa watan Disamba 2012, lokacin da Charles Ayo ya maye gurɓinta. Ta kuma kasance mataimakiyar shugabar jami'ar Landmark, Omu-Aran, jihar Kwara[5] kuma shugabar Cibiyar bunƙasa jagoranci ta Afirka a Jami'ar Alkawari.[6]
