An haifi Yemi ga Mista Olatunji Blaq a jihar Ondo ta Najeriya . Yemi Blaq ya tashi ne a Legas inda ya halarci kuma ya kammala karatunsa na firamare da sakandare duka a nan Legas ɗin. Ya halarci makarantar sakandare ta Adeyemi Demonstration a Ondo, Ondo, kuma shi ne Head boy na farko a makarantar. Ya fara wasan kwaikwayo a lokacin da yake makarantar sakandare kuma ya ci gaba har zuwa yau.[4]

Yemi Blaq ya fara sana'ar sa a Nollywood a shekarar 2005. Ya yi rajista da ƙungiyar Actors Guild of Nigeria a lokacin domin ya zama jarumi. Fim ɗinsa na farko da ya kawo shi hasashe shine Lost of Lust inda ya yi aiki tare da Mercy Johnson . Bayan fim dinsa na farko, an nemi shi a masana’antar fina-finan Najeriya, kuma tun daga nan ya yi fina-finai da dama.
