Yawon buɗe ido a Uganda yana mayar da hankali ne kan yanayin Uganda da namun daji, kasar na Uganda Babban jagaba ne na aikin yi, saka hannun jari da musayar kuɗaɗen waje, yana bada gudummawar USh<span typeof="mw:Entity" id="mwEA"> </span>4.9 tiriliyan (dalar Amurka biliyan 1.88 ko Yuro biliyan 1.4 tun daga watan Agustan 2013) zuwa GDP na Uganda a cikin shekarar kudi ta 2012-2013.[1]

Ana iya amfani da yawon bude ido don yaki da talauci a Uganda. Akwai kamfanonin yawon bude ido da ke daukar mutane aiki kai tsaye a matsayin direbobi, jagorori, sakatarori, akawu da sauransu. Wadannan kamfanoni suna sayar da kayayyaki ga masu yawon bude ido, misali fasaha da fasaha, kayan gargajiya. Kamfanoni na kan layi suna iya gudanar da yawon buɗe ido ta kan layi. Wuraren yawon buɗe ido a Uganda sun haɗa da wuraren shakatawa na wasan ƙasa, wuraren ajiyar wasa, wuraren gargajiya, da gandun daji na yanayi na yanayi. Yawon buɗe ido a Uganda ya samo asali ne tun lokacin da Firayim Minista na gaba Winston Churchill ya ziyarci kasar a shekara ta 1907 kuma ya yi mata lakabi da "Pearl of Africa" saboda kyawawan yanayinsa.

A karshen shekarun 1960, 'yan yawon bude ido na duniya 100,000 ne suka ziyarci Uganda a kowace shekara. Yawon buɗe ido ta kasance kasa ta hudu da kasar ke samun kudin waje. Masana'antar yawon buɗe ido ta ƙare a farkon shekarun 1970 saboda rashin kwanciyar hankali na siyasa. Ya zuwa karshen shekarun 1980, yanayin siyasar Uganda ya daidaita kuma yanayin ya dace da sake saka hannun jari a masana'antar yawon bude ido ta Uganda. [2]

A cikin watan Oktoba 2014 Ma'aikatar Yawon bude ido, namun daji da kayan tarihi ta gwamnatin Uganda ta fitar da babban tsarin raya yawon bude ido na shekarar 2014–2024 tare da tallafi daga Hukumar Kula da Yawon bude ta Majalisar Dinkin Duniya da shirin raya kasa na Majalisar Dinkin Duniya. Daga cikin wasu dabarun, shirin ya raba kasar zuwa "Yankunan Ci gaban yawon bude ido." [3]

A halin yanzu, ma'aikatar yawon bude ido, namun daji da kayayyakin tarihi da hukumar yawon bude ido ta Uganda suna kula da bayanai tare da kididdigan da suka shafi yawon bude ido na kasar. [4] An samu karuwar zuba jari a harkokin yawon bude ido, musamman a wuraren kwana da abubuwan da suka shafi; wannan ya kara habaka kwarewar masu yawon bude ido a kasar.

Ana bunkasa yawon buɗe ido na kasada, yawon buɗe ido da yawon buɗe ido na al'adu. Kimanin kashi uku cikin hudu na masu yawon bude ido na Uganda sun fito ne daga wasu kasashen Afirka. Kasar Kenya mai makwabtaka da Uganda, ita ce kasa mafi yawan masu yawon bude ido zuwa kasar Uganda, wanda kusan rabin dukkan masu shigowa kasar ne. Yawan masu ziyara daga Tanzaniya, Ruwanda, Jamhuriyar Demokradiyyar Kongo, da Sudan ba su da yawa.

Da yake Uganda kasa ce marar tudu, ta dogara sosai kan hanyoyin sadarwa ta Kenya don yawancin jigilar ta. Matafiya na kasa da kasa a wasu lokuta sun fi son tashi zuwa Nairobi kafin su haɗu da Kampala babban birnin Uganda saboda galibi wannan yana da rahusa.
