Nana William Hamilton Biney wani dan kasuwa ne dan kasar Ghana wanda ya gina babban kamfanin stevedore a Legas.

Biney ya kasance mai taimakon jama'a kuma ƴan kasuwa masu karimci waɗanda ke da abokai a duk faɗin ƙasar. Gidan sa da ke Legas ya zama wurin zama ga sarakunan gargajiya da dama da suka ziyarci babban birnin na lokacin.

An haifi Biney a cikin Gold Coast, wanda a yanzu ake kira Ghana, a cikin shekarar 1896. Bayan karatun firamare a Gold Coast, ya tafi Saliyo kuma ya halarci makarantar sakandare ta Wesleyan Boys, Freetown, ya kammala karatu a shekarar 1904. Biney ya yi hijira zuwa Najeriya a shekarar 1911 kuma ya zauna a Legas. Ya fara aiki a matsayin mai kula da littafi na Miller Bros amma a cikin shekarar 1918, ya bar kamfanin kuma ya fara aiki a matsayin ɗan kwangila ga Elder Dempster.[1]

Biney da Co. a cikin shekarar 1918 a matsayin kamfanin kwangilar aiki wanda ke ba da sabis na lodawa da saukewa a tashar jiragen ruwa ga kamfanoni irin su UAC. Har ila yau, kamfanin yana da hannu wajen sauke kananzir da man fetur a tashar ruwa ta Ijora daga kamfanoni irin su Vacuum Oil Company, kuma daga baya ya kara da ayyukan kwangilar layin dogo. A shekara ta 1959, kamfanin ya shiga cikin kafa wani kamfani a Tema, Ghana. An mutunta kamfanin sosai kuma har zuwa shekarar 1964, shine ɗan kwangila tilo mai ɗaukar kaya da jigilar kaya a Apapa.

Biney kuma ya shiga cikin ayyukan da suka shafi aiki. A cikin shekarar 1941, ya kafa ofishin rajistar ma'aikata da ke ba da kuɗi mai zaman kansa[2] da bulletin game da batutuwan aiki.

Biney ya kafa gidan namun daji, gidan namun daji na farko da ke da zaman kansa a Najeriya. Ya kuma kasance majibincin dambe kuma mai horticulturist. Ya yi aiki a matsayin memba na kafa kungiyar Island Club.

Nana ya kasance mai rike da sarautar gargajiya ta Ghana. Ya rasu a shekarun 1970.
