Ta kasance 'ya ga Cif Molade Okoya-Thomas,[3] Asoju Oba na Legas, an haife ta a ranar 20 ga Janairu 1957. Tana da difloma a fannin gudanar da Gwamnati (Senior Managers in Government) daga Jami'ar Harvard da difloma a sec. gudanarwa daga Kwalejin Burleigh.[4]

Olajumoke Okoya-Thomas ta fara aiki ne a ranar 29 ga Afrilun 2011 a karo na uku a jere a majalisar wakilan tarayya. Ra'ayoyin ta na doka da shari'a sun ta'allaka ne akan cigaban zamantakewar Mata da Ƙananan yara.[5] A yanzu haka ita ce Shugabar kwamiti a kan Siyarwar Jama'a sannan kuma mamba ce a kwamitin "Banking & Currency, Diaspora, Niger Delta", da kuma kwamitin Mata a majalisa.

Ita ce tsohuwar shugabar kwamitin gidan yarin.[6]

Olajumoke Okoya-Thomas ta dauki nauyin kudirin doka kan tilasta shayar da jarirai nono a shekara ta 2013. Ƙudirin ya gaza saboda wakilan sun dage kan cewa batu ne da ya fi dacewa a bar shi a bainar jama'a saboda "babu macen da za a tilasta mata shayar da danta nono" duk da cewa sun amince da fa'idodin lafiya na shayar da nonon wanda ba a iya jayayya da hakan.[7] Har wayau, ita ce kuma shugabar mata na jam’iyyar All Progressive Congress a jihar Legas.[8]
