Mariam Temitope Masha ita ce babbar mataimakiya ta musamman ga shugaban tarayyar Najeriya kan ayyukan jin kai. Kafin wannan nadin, ta yi aiki a matsayin babbar mataimakiya ta musamman ga shugaban Najeriya kan ‘Yan Gudun Hijira.[1] Ta kuma yi aiki a matsayin mai ba da shawara na musamman ga Mataimakin Shugaban kasa kan ayyukan Arewa maso Gabas. Memba ce a cikin kwamitin amintattu na mutum biyar tallafawa yaran yankin Arewa maso Gabas wato,North East Children's Trust (NECT), inda tayi aiki a matsayin sakatariyar zartarwa,[2] kuma ta kasance malama mai ziyartar African Leadership Center (ALC) na King's College London.[3]

Mariam ta samu digiri na aikin likitancin hakori (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) daga Jami’ar Legas, ta Jihar Legas, a shekarar 2000. Bayan shekara uku kuma, ta sami Digiri na biyu a fannin Kiwon Lafiyar Jama’a (MPH) daga Makarantar Kiwon Lafiyar Jama’a ta John Hopkins Bloomberg. A shekarar 2013, Mariam ta zama mai bin Archbishop Desmond Tutu Leadership Fellow, kuma a shekarar 2015 ta sami difloma a fannin jagoranci a kungiyar daga jami’ar Oxford UK.

Bayan digirinta na farko, Mariam tayi aiki a matsayin jami'ar kula da hakori a asibitin koyarwa na jami'ar Lagas, LUTH. Ta rike mukamin har sau biyu a jere (2007 - 2015). A watan Yunin 2015, an nada Mariam a matsayin babbar mataimakiya ta musamman ga shugaban kasar Najeriya kan Gwamnatin Buhari. Ta yi aiki a matsayin Shugaban shiri na zaman lafiya na Recovery and Peace Building Assessment (RPBA)[6] a madadin Gwamnatin Tarayyar Najeriya tare da hadin gwiwar Bankin Duniya, Tarayyar Turai da Majalisar Dinkin Duniya[7] inda ta kirkiro rahoton wanda an yi amfani da shi azaman tushen samar da tsarin ci gaban Arewa maso Gabashin Najeriya.[8]

A watan Oktoba na shekarar 2019, Mariam ta wakilci Gwamnatin Najeriya wajen daukar nauyin taron Najeriyar a taron Majalisar Dinkin Duniya karo na 74, mai take kawo karshen talauci ta hanyar shiga tsari na zamani" (Tackling Poverty for Greater Inclusion in a Digital Age) wanda aka gudanar a Hedikwatar Majalisar Dinkin Duniya.
