Peter Kwamena Essilfie Bartels (an haife shi 27 Oktoba 1947) ɗan siyasan Ghana ne kuma tsohon ministan gwamnati na Sabuwar Jam'iyyar Patriotic.[1]

Bayan kammala karatunsa a makarantar Mfantsipim a shekarar 1968, Bartels ya samu gurbin shiga jami'ar Ghana, inda ya karanta fannin shari'a. Bayan ya sami digiri na farko a 1971, Bartels ya ci gaba da karatunsa a Makarantar Shari'a ta Ghana domin ya zama ƙwararren lauya.[2]

A shekarar 1979 Bartels ya fara tsayawa takarar kujerar majalisar dokokin Ghana, amma dan takarar jam'iyyar People's National Party ya doke shi. A shekarar 1992, Bartels ya sake tsayawa takara a mazabar Agona ta Yamma, amma ya janye bayan jam'iyyarsa ta kauracewa zaben 1992 saboda zargin magudin zabe. A cikin 1996, an zaɓi Bartels dan majalisar wakilai na mazabar Ablekuma North.[3] Ya kasance Ministan Ayyuka da Gidaje daga 2001-2004. Daga nan ya zama minista mai kula da kamfanoni masu zaman kansu da PSI (2005-2006), Ministan Labarai & Wayar da Kan Jama'a (2006-2007), da Ministan Cikin Gida (2007-2008).[4]

Bartels memba ne na dangin Bartel na Yuro-Afrika, wanda kakansa Cornelius Ludewich Bartels ya kasance Gwamna-Janar na Kogin Gold Coast tsakanin 1798 zuwa 1804, kuma ɗansa Carel Hendrik Bartels shine babban ɗan kasuwan mulatto a gabar Gold a karo na biyu. kwata na karni na sha tara.[7]
