Jihar Sachin ( Gujarati  ; Urdu: سچن ریاست‎ ) kasa ce ta sarauta ta Hukumar Surat, tsohuwar Hukumar Khandesh, na Fadar Shugaban Kasa ta Bombay a lokacin mulkin Raj na Burtaniya. An kafa jihar Sachin a ranar 6 ga watan Yunin shekarar 1791. Ko da yake sama da kashi 85% na batutuwan Hindu ne, musulmin Sunni na daular Siddi na Danda-Rajpuri da Janjira ne ke mulkin jihar. Daular Siddi ta samo asali ne daga Abyssiniya (Habesha).[1]

Jihar Sachin ta kasance ƙarƙashin kariyar Maratha Peshwa har sai da ta zama kariyar Burtaniya. Tana da nata soja, kuɗaɗe, da takarda mai hatimi, da kuma ƙungiyar jaha da ta haɗa da 'yan Afirka.

Fatima Begum (1892 – 1983), daya daga cikin jaruman farko a fina-finan Indiya, kuma mace ta farko da ta zama darakta a fina-finan Indiya, ta auri Nawab Sidi Ibrahim Muhammad Yakut Khan III na jihar Sachin. Amma majiyoyin gidan sarautar Sachin sun lullube wannan[2] suna da'awar cewa babu wani tarihin aure ko yarjejeniya da aka yi tsakanin Nawab da Fatima Bai ko Nawab sun amince da 'ya'yansu, Sultana, Zubeida da Shehzadi, a matsayin nasa a hukumance.[3] Sultana, ɗiyar Fatima Begum,[4] ta zama jigo a fina-finan Indiya na farko.[5] Zubeida, wadda ta kasance babbar jarumar fim ɗin magana ta farko a Indiya Alam Ara (1931), ƙanwarta ce.[6]

Nawab Sidi Ibrahim Muhammad Yakut Khan na III, mai mulkin jihar Sachin na karshe, ya rattaba hannu kan shiga kungiyar tarayyar Indiya a ranar 8 ga Maris 1948. Daga nan sai jihar ta zama wani yanki na gundumar Surat a lardin Bombay.[7][8][9]

Bayan Partition, Zubaida ta zauna a Indiya, yayin da ƴar uwarta Sultana ta koma Pakistan inda ta yi aure kuma ta haifi 'ya mace, Jamila Razzaq, wadda ta zama fitacciyar 'yar wasan Pakistan a cikin shekaru goma tsakanin tsakiyar 1950s zuwa tsakiyar 1960s.[10]
