An haifi Mukeshimana a ranar 10 ga watan Disamba 1970 a gundumar Huye ta yau.[1] Tana da digiri a fannin Injiniyancin aikin gona daga Jami'ar Ƙasa ta Ruwanda da digiri na biyu (2001) da PhD (2013) a fannin ilimin halittu daga Jami'ar Jihar Michigan.[4][5] Kundin karatun digirinta yana da taken "Dissecting the Genetic Complexity of Drought Tolerance Mechanisms in Common Bean (Phaseolus Vulgaris L.)"[6] A cikin shekarar 2012, an ba ta lambar yabo ta 2012 don ci gaban Abinci da Aikin Noma na ƙasa (BIFAD) da Student Award for Science Excellence. don gudunmuwarta ga shirin noman wake na Rwanda.[6]

Mukeshimana malama ce a tsangayar aikin gona a jami'ar ƙasa ta Rwanda kuma mai kula da ayyukan tallafawa yankunan karkara na bankin duniya.[6]

A cikin shekarar 2013, Mukeshimana tana cikin ƙungiyar bincike a BecA Hub, cibiyar nazarin halittu a Cibiyar Nazarin Dabbobi ta Duniya a Nairobi.[6]

Mukeshimana an naɗa ta Ministar Noma da Albarkatun Dabbobi a majalisar ministocin Firayim Minista Anastase Murekezi a watan Yulin 2014.[7][8] Ta ci gaba da riƙe muƙamin ta a wani sauyi a majalisar ministocin da shugaba Paul Kagame ya yi a watan Mayun 2016.[9]

A watan Yunin 2016, Mukeshimana ta karɓi bakuncin makon Kimiyyar Noma na Afirka karo na 7 da babban taron dandalin bincike kan aikin gona a Afirka (FARA) a Kigali, wacce ta gabatar da kira mai ɗauke da maki shida don cimma nasarar shirin "Ciyar da Afirka".[10] A cikin sauya shekar majalisar ministocin na 31 ga watan Agusta 2017, Mukeshimana ta ci gaba da riƙe muƙamin ta na majalisar ministoci da kuma kundin aikinta.[11]

Mukeshimana an naɗa ta mataimakiyar shugaban asusun bunkasa noma na ƙasa da ƙasa a watan Agustan 2023.[12]
