An haifi Deborah Vanessa Owusu-Bonsu a ranar 25 ga watan Agusta 1984, mahaifinta ɗan Ashanti ne da mahaifiyar ta 'yar ƙasar Romania. Duk iyayenta biyun sun kasance masu tattara kiɗan duniya da fasaha.[3] Ita ce mai gabatar da shirye-shiryen talabijin, abin ƙira, mawaƙa, ilimi da kuma mai zane-zane. Owusu-Bonsu 'yar uwar fitaccen mawakin Hidima ne Wanlov the Kubolor wanda ya fito a cikin fim ɗin Coz Ov Moni.[3] Owusu-Bonsu ta halarci makarantar Christ the King International, sannan kuma da Wesley Girls' High School. Ta kammala karatun digiri na farko a fannin wallafe-wallafe a Jami'ar Kimiyya da Fasaha ta Kwame Nkrumah sannan ta yi Digiri na biyu a Books/Journal Publishing daga Jami'ar Arts London.[3]

A cikin shekarar 2012, Owusu-Bonsu ta yi rikodin kuma ta fitar da waƙa guda ɗaya mai suna 'Uncle Obama' tana nufin Barack Obama wanda gidan talabijin na Amurka CNN ya rufe.[4] Tun daga shekarar 2012, Owusu-Bonsu Ita ce mai gabatar da shirin The Late Nite Celebrity Show wanda tashar talabijin ta e.tv Ghana ta watsa.[5] Daga baya ta koma gidan talabijin na GHOne inda ta ɗauki nauyin shirinta na Gliterrati na wani ɗan ƙanƙanin lokaci kafin mikawa Berla Mundi.[6]


Ghana Jollof

A tsakiyar shekarun 2010 gasar da aka yi tsakanin 'yan Afirka ta Yamma game da wanda shinkafar Jollof ta fi faɗaɗa zuwa "Jollof Wars".[7] Gasar ta yi fice musamman tsakanin Najeriya da Ghana.[8][9][10] A cikin shekarar 2016 Owusu-Bonsu ta saki "Ghana Jollof", wanda ya ba da dariya ga fasalin Najeriya da 'yan Najeriya saboda girman kai da sigar su.[11]

Owusu-Bonsu ta taka rawar gani wajen tsaftace muhalli da kamfen ɗin sake amfani da wakar ta.[14] A shekarar 2018, ta yi kira ga gwamnatin Ghana da ta hana amfani da buhunan leda. A cikin shekarar 2020, yayin bala'in COVID-19, ita da ɗan'uwanta ( Wanlov the Kubolor) sun yi abin refe hanci daga tufafin gwanjo don taimakawa rage sharar tufafi daga wuraren juji da kuma teku.[15][16]

Owusu-Bonsu ta kuma yi ta tofa albarkacin bakinta game da kare haƙƙin mutanen LGBT+ a Ghana. A cikin shekarar 2021, ta yi magana game da dokar hana LGBT ta Ghana da kuma rufe ofishin LGBT+ Rights Ghana.[17][18][19] Ta kuma fito a kan Angel Maxine 's Kill The Bill and Wo Fie, waɗanda suka yi amfani da kiɗa don fafutukar kare haƙƙin mutanen LGBT+ a Ghana.[20][21][22]
