An haife ta a ranar 19 ga Yuni 1976 a Anloga da ke Yankin Volta na Ghana.[2] Ta lashe lambar yabo ta Miss Ghana a 1997 lokacin tana da shekaru 20 a matsayin dalibi.[3] Ta halarci makarantar Achimota a Accra don karatun sakandare. Daga nan ta ci gaba da karatun salo a Makarantar Fashion ta London na tsawon shekaru hudu.[4]

Ta koma Ghana a 2003 kuma tun daga lokacin ta sassaka wa kanta wani abin alfahari a masana'antar salo ta Ghana.[5]

Benita ta yi murabus daga mukaminta na Mata mai shirya National Democratic Congress na mazabar Ledzokuku a yankin Greater Accra. Ta yi takarar fidda gwani na jam'iyyar inda ta kayar da dan majalisa mai ci a lokacin Nii Nortey Dua don wakiltar National Democratic Congress a mazabar. Ta lashe zaben a 2012 don wakiltar mutanen Ledzokuku a majalisar dokokin Ghana. Ta zama sarauniyar kyau ta Miss Ghana ta farko da aka zaba a matsayin 'yar majalisa a Ghana.[4] Bugu da kari, ta yi aiki a matsayin mataimakiyar ministan jinsi, yara da kare lafiyar jama'a daga Ghana daga watan Afrilu 2013 zuwa watan Yunin 2014.[6] Ta kuma kasance mataimakiyar Ministan Kifi da Kiwo na Jamhuriyar Ghana.[7] Benita ta rasa kujerar ta ga Dokta Benard Okoe-Boye wanda ya tsaya kan tikitin Sabuwar Jam'iyyar Patriotic a zaben Majalisar 2016.[8]
