Adawari Michael Pepple an zaɓe shi a matsayin Sanata mai wakiltan Mazaɓar Rivers ta kudu maso gabas na jihar Ribas a Najeriya a farkon jamhuriya ta huɗu ta Najeriya, inda ya tsaya takara a ƙarƙashin jam'iyyar PDP. Ya fara aiki a ranar 29 ga watan Mayun shekarar 1999.[1]

Bayan ya hau kujerarsa a Majalisar Dattawa a cikin watan Yunin shekarata 1999, an naɗa Pepple a kwamitocin Man Fetur, Masana'antu (Mataimakin Shugaban), Albarkatun Ruwa, Ilimi, Ci gaban Al'umma & Wasanni da Babban Birnin Tarayya.[2] An naɗa shi Babban Mai Shari’a na Majalisar Dattawa a shekara ta 2002.[3] Pepple ya kasance mai goyon bayan canjin tsarin mulki wanda shugaban ƙasa da gwamnonin jihohi za su iya yin aiki na tsawon shekaru biyar kawai.[4] Bayan Kotun Duniya ta yanke hukuncin cewa yankin Bakassi da ake taƙaddama a kansa na ƙasar Kamaru ne, ya lura da cewa "Ƙimar rayukan ƴan Najeriya a yankin Bakassi da ma fiye da haka ya kai darajar man fetur da iskar gas a yankin".[5] A cikin bitar ayyukan sanata a cikin watan Oktoban shekarar 2002, Vanguard ta lura cewa Pepple ya gabatar da ƙudirori bakwai a Majalisar da ke yanzu.[6]

Michael Pepple ba mamba ne na ƙungiyar masana'antun Najeriya (MAN) kaɗai ba, shi ne shugaban ƙungiyar MAN Rivers/ reshen jihar Bayelsa.[7][8] Ya kasance wanda ya karɓi kyautar Distinguished Service Star award na Jihar Ribas (DSSRS).[9]
