Abimbola ita ce babba a cikin yara uku kuma ɗan asalin jihar Ogun, Abeokuta . A cikin shekara ta dubu biyu da sha hudu (2014}, ta sauke karatu daga Bristow Academy a Florida, Amurka. Ta sami takardar shedar FAA tare da JAA da takaddun shaida akan S-76.[3][4]

A watan Disambar shekara ta 2014, Abimbola ta zama mace ta farko da ta zama matukin jirgi mai saukar ungulu na Bristow Helicopters Nigeria da ke tashi Sikorsky S-76 .

A watan Fabrairun shekara ta 2016, Abimbola a matsayin kyaftin na jirgin Bristow mai saukar ungulu ya jefa shi cikin tekun Atlantika, matakin da ya ceci rayukan fasinjoji 11 da ke cikinsa.
