Prince Adekunle (1942-2017) ya kasance mawaƙin Jùjú na Najeriya. An haife shi a ranar 22 ga Oktoba 1942, Adekunle ya fito ne daga asalin Egba, daga Abeokuta a Jihar Ogun . Adekunle ya kasance babban mai kirkiro da karfi a cikin yanayin kiɗa na jùjú, tare da salon motsa jiki na Afrobeat. Shahararrun mawaƙa kamar Sir Shina Peters da Segun Adewale sun fara aikinsu suna wasa tare da ƙungiyarsa, Western Brothers . Koda ya zagaya Ingila a farkon shekarun 1970, bai zama sananne ba a wajen Najeriya.[1]

Kiɗa na Jùjú, wanda Tunde King ya fara kirkirar a cikin shekarun 1930, ya zama tushen kiɗan Yarima Adekunle. Tare sanyi amma tuki, salon sophisticated, Yarima Adekunle an dauke shi daya daga cikin manyan masu zane-zane na kiɗa na Jùjú.[2][3]

Afrobeat kuma rinjayi mai kula da Adekunle Sir Shina Peters wanda ya kirkiro sauti mai saurin "Afro juju".Sir Shina Peters ya tuna cewa lokacin da yake matashi, Yarima Adekunle ya yi abokantaka da shi. Wani wakilin ya ce ya kamata a kira shi dan Yarima Adekunle a matsayin tallace-tallace, kuma wannan shine yadda aka san shi da Shina Omo Adekunle. Kodayake tallafin na ainihi ba ne, mutane sun yarda da shi kuma a wata hanya ya zama na ainihi.Shina Peters Segun Adewale, wadanda suka zama manyan taurari biyu na shekarun 1980, dukansu sun fara aikinsu a tsakiyar shekarun 1970 tare da Yarima Adekunle.[4] [5] [6]
