Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye (an haife shi a 22 Satumba 1946), anfi saninsa da King Sunny Adé, ya kasance dan' Najeriya ne, mawakin jùjú, marubucin waka kuma mai kide-kide.[1] Ana daukar sa amatsayin n'a farko daga acikin mawakan African pop da suka samu nasara a duniya, kuma ana ganin shi mawakin da yafi a Afrika na kowane lokaci.[2]

Adé ya kafa nashi kamfanin Wakar a 1967, wanda da fari ya kira da African Beats. Bayan nasarori a Najeriya a shekarun 1970s da kafa tashi independent label, Adé ya sanya hannu da Island Records a 1982 kuma ya samu nasara a duniya da fitar da albums Juju Music (1982) da kuma Synchro System (1983); na karshen tasa yasamu gabatarwa a Grammy, na farko da wani daga Najeriya ya fara samu. A 1998 album dinsa Odu itama ta samar masa da gabatarwa a Grammy. Adé ayanzu yana rike ne da mukamin Babban Shugaba na Musical Copyright Society of Nigeria.
