gyara sasheLaburaren ya yi kama da tsarin ɗakin karatu na shugaban ƙasa daga Amurka. Tunanin ɗakin karatu na shugaban ƙasa ya fara ne a cikin shekarar 1939 ta Shugaba Franklin D. Roosevelt wanda ya ba da gudummawar takaddun aikinsa don amfanin ƙasa. Ƙasar ta zartar da Dokar Laburaren Shugaban Ƙasa ta zama doka a cikin shekarar 1955 don tsara wannan aikin don tarihin ƙasa na duk takardun shugaban Amurka da kayan aiki a ofis. [4]
Nyaknno Osso [5] ne ya kirkiro ɗakin karatu na Olusegun Obasanjo a shekarar 1988 don ya mutu, kuma an gina shi bayan ya zama shugaban Tarayyar Najeriya. Tunanin kafa ɗakin karatun na shugaban ƙasa Olusegun Obasanjo ya kasance ra'ayi ne kawai sai bayan shekaru 10 da Cif Olusegun Obasanjo ya tashi daga gidan yari zuwa fadar gwamnati a matsayin zaɓaɓɓen shugaban ƙasa na biyu a Najeriya. Ba da daɗewa ba ya kafa Ofishin Laburaren Shugaban Ƙasa (Libraries, Research and Documentation) tare da manufar da aka bayyana don ganin an fassara ra'ayin OOPL zuwa na gaskiya. [6] [7] [8]
A ranar 12 ga watan Nuwamba, 2002, aka kafa gidauniyar ɗakin karatu na Olusegun Obasanjo a matsayin ƙungiya mai zaman kanta don ba da shawara, haɓakawa da karfafawa, haɓakawa, da haɓaka ɗakin karatu, daidaita ayyukansa da ba da tallafi ga shirye-shiryensa. An ɗora wa kwamitin amintattu na Gidauniyar alhakin tattara ribar kamfanoni masu zaman kansu da kuma ba da tallafi don ginawa, samarwa, kulawa, da kuma kare gine-ginen ɗakin karatu da abubuwan da aka mallaka.

Wasu kuma suna samar da tsaunuka waɗanda ke haifar da kyakkyawan ra'ayi na dukan haɗaɗɗun da manyan wuraren da ke kewaye da yanayin birni. Shafin ba duk dutse bane. Ruwa mai sauri ya shiga cikin wani ƙaramin fadama kuma an datse shi don samar da ruwa da wutar lantarki.
