Mutanen Gwandara, na daya daga cikin kabilun Najeriya. Suna cikin wasu sassa na Abuja, Nassarawa, Kano, Niger da Kaduna.[1]

Kabilar Gwandara sun samo asali ne daga Kano. Su ne zuriyar Barbushe da ake yi wa kallon asalin mutanen Kano kafin Bagauda.[2][3] A shekarar 1476 sun yi hijira daga Kano a karkashin jagorancin Yarima Karshi (Gwandara) don gujewa zaluncin addini na zama musulmi.[4][5] Yarima Gwandara shi ne kanin Sarkin da ke mulki wanda ya yarda da shigar da addinin Musulunci a kotun Kano kuma ya kuduri aniyar kawar da duk wata dabi'a ta maguzawa.[6] Duk da haka, ɗan'uwansa kuma ya ƙudura ya bi addinin kakanninsu wanda shi ne tashin hankali, imani na addini wanda ke ba da girmamawa ga dabbobi a matsayin masu iko na ruhaniya. Da yake fuskantar barazanar ko dai su musulunta ko kuma a bauta musu, shi da mabiyansa sun yi hijira zuwa kudu zuwa Gwagwa. Ci gaba da tsanantawa daga Sarki mai mulki ya kai su Jukun a karni na sha bakwai da sha takwas inda daga karshe suka watse zuwa sassa da dama na Najeriya.[7]

Mutanen Gwandara na Karshi su ne suka fi fice kuma sun fi kowa sanin kabilar Gwandara a Najeriya. Shi ne garin Gwandara na farko da Tarayyar Najeriya ta amince da shi.[2] Garin ne na farko da ya samu Sarkin Gwandara, Alhaji Sani Mohammed-Bako. Daga cikin fitattun mutanen Gwandara akwai Sardaunan na Gwandara Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, Sanata mai wakiltar Nasarawa ta Kudu kuma gwamnan jihar Nassarawa mai suna Sardaunan Gwandara ya kasance ranar 27 ga Maris, 2021.[8] Wani fitaccen Gwandara shi ne Muhammad Danladi Yakubu, tsohon mataimakin gwamna. na Jihar Filato.[9]

Al'ummar Gwandara sun fi yin noma da farauta da rini da sana'a da sana'o'i amma kwararowar ilmin yammacin duniya, mutane da dama sun bar sana'ar don aikin farar hula.[2]

Mutanen Gwandara suna magana da yaren Gwandara. Harshen da ke da kusanci da harshen Hausa amma ba shi da cuɗanya da harshen Larabci na baya-bayan nan.[7]
