Muhammadu Maiturare ( Larabci: محمد مايتوراري‎ ) Sarkin Musulmi ne daga shekara ta 1915 har zuwa rasuwarsa a shekara ta 1924. Ya kasance daga zuriyar Abubakar Atiku, kuma ɗan Sultan Ahmadu Atiku; mahaifiyarsa 'yar wani sarkin Abzinawa ce.

Kafin zama Sarkin Musulmi Maiturare ya rike mukamin Marafa Gwadabawa kuma ya kasance memba a kwamitin gargajiya da suka zaɓi Muhammadu Attahiru II, wanda Lugard ya zaɓa a matsayin Sultan. [1] Maiturare ya yi fice wajen raya gundumar Gwadabawa a Sakkwato. An kuma bayyana shi a matsayin ƙwararren shugaban soji wanda ya dai-daita yankin arewacin Sakkwato da Kebbawa ke kai hare-hare akai-akai. [2] A ranar 19 ga Yuni, 1915, Majalisar gargajiya ta Sokoto [3] ta zabi Maiturare a matsayin magajin Muhammadu Attahiru II . Gwamna Lord Lugard ne ya amince da zaɓen nasa bayan kwanaki biyar. Zaɓen Maiturare da majalisar ta yi ya samu karɓuwa sosai a wurin turawan Ingila domin ya kasance mai tsananin adawa da tawayen Mahdist a shekara ta 1906 kuma ya jagoranci runduna 300 da suka yaki ‘yan tawayen Mahdi a kauyen Satiru. Daga shekara ta 1915 zuwa shekara ta 1921, ya kuma samu goyon bayan mazauna Birtaniya da aka tura Sokoto, amma a shekara ta 1921, akwai takardar koke da aka rubuta wa Laftanar Gwamna, wanda mazaunin Edwardes. An kuma shigar da karar ne bisa zargin wasu sarakunan Sokoto biyu, Usman Majidadi da Saidu Sintali. Zargin da aka tabbatar karya ne, aka cire Usman daga mukaminsa.
