Kwame Karikari kwararre ne a fannin ilimi kuma ɗan jarida ɗan ƙasar Ghana. Farfesa ne a fannin Jarida da Sadarwa.[1] Ya kasance Darakta Janar na Kamfanin Watsa Labarai na Ghana daga shekarun 1982 zuwa 1984. A halin yanzu yana aiki a matsayin Shugaban Kamfanin Sadarwa na Graphic Communications Group Limited.[2][3]

An haifi Karikari a ranar 16 ga watan Yulin 1945 a Akim-Awisa a Gabashin kasar Ghana.[4] Ya yi karatu a Komenda Training College inda ya kammala a matsayin malami.[4]

Bayan kammala karatunsa a kwalejin horarwa, Karikari ya fara koyarwa a makarantar gwaji ta Wenchi, Ashanti-Akim. Daga baya ya shiga Kwalejin Horar da Malamai na Ci gaba da ke Winneba (yanzu Jami'ar Ilimi, Winneba) don yin difloma kuma ya koyar a Makarantar Sakandare ta Navrongo a 1970.[5] A cikin 1971, Karkari ya tafi Amurka don yin karatu a Kwalejin City na New York. Ya kammala karatu daga Kwalejin City a shekara ta 1975 tare da digiri na farko a fannin falsafa da kimiyyar siyasa. Daga nan ya wuce Jami'ar Columbia, inda a shekara ta 1976, ya sami digiri na biyu a aikin jarida.[6][7][8]

Bayan kammala karatunsa, ya yi aiki da jaridu da dama har zuwa shekarar 1979 lokacin da ya koma Ghana ya shiga jami'ar Ghana a matsayin malami.[2][9][10] A Jami'ar Ghana, ya koyarwa a Makarantar Nazarin Sadarwa daga shekarun 1979 zuwa 1982 lokacin da aka naɗa shi mukaddashin kuma daga baya babban Darakta Janar na Kamfanin Watsa Labarai na Ghana. Ya yi aiki a wannan matsayi daga shekarun 1982 zuwa 1984. Bayan ya yi aiki a gidan radiyon ƙasar Ghana, ya koma karatu ya karantar a jami'ar Ghana inda ya kai matsayin farfesa, sannan ya zama darakta a makarantar nazarin sadarwa. Daga baya Kwame Karikari ya shiga Jami'ar Wisconsin da ke Ghana a matsayin shugaban nazarin harkokin sadarwa.

A matsayinsa na mai fafutukar 'yancin faɗin albarkacin baki, adalci na zamantakewa da dimokuraɗiyya a Afirka, Karikari ya yi aiki a matsayin Babban Darakta na Gidauniyar Yaɗa Labarai ta Yammacin Afirka (MFWA),[2][11][12] ya kuma yi hidima ga hukumomi daban-daban da kungiyoyin ƙasa da ƙasa waɗanda zakaran kare hakkin ɗan adam. Yana kuma cikin kwamitin edita na wallafe-wallafen ilimi. Shi ne Shugaban Kamfanin Sadarwa na Graphic Communications Group Limited.
