Kofi Konadu Apraku ɗan siyasan Ghana ne kuma masanin tattalin arziki kuma memba na majalisar dokoki ta 2, 3 da ta 4 na jamhuriya ta 4 ta Ghana. Dan sabuwar jam'iyyar kishin kasa ne. Ya kasance dan majalisa mai wakiltar mazabar Offinso ta arewa a majalisa ta hudu a jamhuriyar Ghana ta hudu.[1][2]

An haifi Konadu Apraku a Akumadan a yankin Asante na Ghana a ranar 7 ga Satumba 1954.[3] Ya halarci Makarantar Sakandare ta Tweneboa Kodua tsakanin 1967 zuwa 1972 kuma ya ci gaba da karatunsa a Makarantar Sakandaren Albany ta Kudu da ke Oregon, Amurka bayan ya lashe gasar rubutu ta kasa da kasa ta AFS bayan ya karanta digirin tattalin arziki a Jami’ar Jihar Oregon inda ya sami digiri na uku a fannin.[4][5][6]

Kofi Konadu Apraku ya kasance ministan hadin gwiwar yanki da kuma NEPAD a gwamnatin John Kufuor daga 2003 zuwa 2006. Ya kuma rike mukamin ministan ciniki da masana'antu a karkashin Kufour daga 2001 zuwa 2003.[7] A shekara ta 2008, Majalisar Ministocin Kungiyar Kasashen Yammacin Afirka (ECOWAS) ta nada shi a matsayin kwamishinan manufofin tattalin arziki da bincike na tattalin arziki na ECOWAS, inda yake da alhakin kula da tsarin sa ido na bangarori daban-daban wanda ya shafi tantancewa akai-akai ta hanyar sa ido na hadin gwiwa na tattalin arzikin kasashen. Ƙasar mambobin ECOWAS don tabbatar da ko ana cika ka'idojin haɗuwa tare da samar da bayanan tattalin arziki da ƙididdiga ga mambobin kungiyar da kuma taimaka musu su cimma ka'idojin haɗin kai da kuma kudin ECOWAS guda ɗaya. Yana kuma hulda da Bankin Duniya, Asusun Ba da Lamuni na Duniya [IMF], Bankin Raya Afirka da sauran cibiyoyin kudi don tallafawa ci gaban yankunan ECOWAS.[8][9][10]

An fara zaben Kofi Konadu Apraku a matsayin dan majalisa a ranar 7 ga watan Janairun 1997 domin ya wakilci mazabarsa. Ya samu kuri'u 10,456 daga cikin sahihin kuri'u 21,428 da aka kada wanda ke wakiltar kashi 37.80%. Ya fafata da Nana Oduro-Baah dan jam’iyyar NDC wanda ya samu kuri’u 10,257 da ke wakiltar kashi 37.10%, Manu Yaw Joseph da dan jam’iyyar PNC wanda ya samu kuri’u 358 da ke wakiltar kashi 1.30% da Emmanuel Kwame Boakye dan IND wanda ya samu kuri’u 357 da ke wakiltar kashi 1.30%.[11]

Shi ne aka sake zabe a ranar 7 ga Janairun 2001 bayan ya zama wanda ya yi nasara a babban zaben Ghana na 2000 kuma ya samu kuri'u 13,160 daga cikin ingantattun kuri'u 21,543 da aka kada wanda ke wakiltar kashi 61.00%.[12] An kuma sake zabe shi a matsayin dan majalisar wakilai mai wakiltar mazabar Offinso ta Arewa na yankin Asante a babban zaben kasar Ghana na shekara ta 2004 da jimillar kuri'u.13,389 yana wakiltar kashi 50.30% na jimlar kuri'un da aka jefa.[13] Ya kasance daga cikin ’yan takara 17 da suka fafata a shekarar 2007 domin neman dan takarar jam’iyyar New Patriotic Party, a zaben 2008.[14]
