A ranar 13 ga Yuni, 2020, Daular Musulunci – Yammacin Afirka (ISWAP) ta ƙaddamar da hare-hare guda biyar a wasu wurare daban-daban a fadin jihar Borno, Najeriya . Huɗu daga cikin hare-haren an kai su ne a Monguno, ɗaya kuma ya faru ne a kauyen Goni Usmanti da ke ƙaramar hukumar Nganzai, kuma an kashe sama da mutane sittin a hare-haren.

[2] Mayaƙan jihadin sun gudu daga Goni Usmanti lokacin da suka hango jerin gwanon motocin sojojin Najeriya daga Gubio, inda suka far wa ƙauyen Mainmari a lokacin da suke ja da baya. [3] Sun kuma ƙona ƙauyen Mariram. [3] An kashe fararen hula 29 a Goni Usmanti, sannan an kashe wasu goma sha uku a Mainmari. [3]
Da misalin ƙarfe 11:50 na safe, wannan gungun mayaƙan ISWAP sun shiga Monguno ta hanyar shiga Charly 1 da Charly 6, inda suka harba rokoki da harsasai kan masu gadi. [3] An kai hari kan shingayen binciken ababan hawa biyu na sojojin Najeriya a birnin da misalin ƙarfe 12:30 na rana, lamarin da ya kai ga yin artabu tsakanin sojojin hadin gwiwa na MNJTF da mayaƙan jihadi a birnin. Rikicin da aka yi tsakanin ɓangarorin biyu ya jikkata tare da kashe fararen hula. [3] [4] Sojojin MNJTF sun yi galaba a kansu, kuma mayaƙan ISWAP sun yi ta yawo a Monguno na ‘yan sa’o’i. [4] Mayaƙan jihadi sun isa tsakiyar Monguno da misalin ƙarfe 3:13 na rana, inda suka ƙona wata cibiyar jin ƙai ta Majalisar Ɗinkin Duniya da ke Monguno, inda suka raba wa fararen hula takardu da ke gargaɗin kada su yi aiki da ƙungiyoyi masu zaman kansu na Yamma.[5][6] Ma'aikatan Majalisar Ɗinkin Duniya 50 ne ke wurin a yayin harin, amma ba su samu rauni ba. [5] Daga nan ne mayaƙan na ISWAP suka ƙona ofishin ‘yan sanda. [7]

[5] [4] Fararen hula da suka jikkata sun mamaye asibitin da ke Nganzai, inda aka tilastawa wasu kwanciya a wajen asibitin. [5] An kai 16 daga cikin fararen hula da suka jikkata a Monguno zuwa asibiti a Maiduguri a ranar 16 ga watan Yuni, duk da cewa ɗaya ya rasu a kan hanya. [8]
